I've had trouble knowing what I actually look like for a while. I don't know if it's because of being neurodiverse or my race. Since I have pale skin, I've always been considered white. I just assumed that if a girl is white and has brown hair and brown eyes she must look like me. This always made me feel like there was something off about me. I often felt like my face was too broad, my eyes were too small and I just looked plain weird. I also felt like my face changed every day even though I knew it didn't.

Same with me, I also look in the mirror a lot. I'm a bit embarrassed about it because I don't want people to think I'm some sort of narcissist.

I worry about that too. People close to me know I'm the opposite, but strangers and acquaintances may assume. :(

Yeah, I do. I have a bit of an idea of what I look like but sometimes I get it wrong enough to be slightly surprised by my own reflection. I'm also terrible at remembering someone's face until I've spent quite a lot of time around them. Maybe I don't look at people enough.

I sometimes have trouble with other people's faces as well. I mostly pay attention to their voice or general vibe instead of their face. That works well most of the time. Until I'm in a room of people that act and talk the same who are roughly the same age, race and build.

I have trouble with other people's faces as well as my own. I know what I look like in that I can certainly recognize what my features look like, but I have no idea what other people are seeing when they look at me. What does my face say? What does it mean? I don't think I'm ever going to know.

Yes, I have a hard time perceiving what I look like, in that I think I might look a little strange but I'm not really sure, so I think it's best left to others to decide for themselves. Apparently though, this might be a trait that runs in my family.

I'm faceblind and don't remember what anyone's face looks like once I'm not looking at it. It's the same with my own face too. I've been that way ever since I can remember and I didn't learn that it wasn't like that for everyone until ~4 years ago.

Sometimes it seems like when I look in a mirror I look different than I did a few hours before. It also seems like I usually look pretty different in my pictures than I do in a mirror.

I swear my face looks different every time I look at it in a mirror.

And yeah I struggle with visualizing other people's faces in my head. I recognize people when I see them, but god don't ask me what someone looks like.

It's weird, I'm white but my entire life I've struggled differentiating white people. I don't have that problem with people of other races. I tend to think almost every blonde person looks exactly the same, and whenever I'm like oh that celebrity was in this movie or don't those celebrities look the same people will be like "that was a totally different blonde celebrity/they look nothing alike!"

I have trouble with white people as well. At least if they're the generic Anglo Saxon type. I swear they all act and look the same.
