I KNOW that there are plenty of supporters of the Women's March On Washington, and all the principals it stands for. I'm guessing we just didn't represent on wrongplanet yesterday because we were all in the streets, making our voices heard. I started this thread because I want there to be a record of it here. If an alien came to earth and looked at wrong planet alone, that alien would think aspergians to be very republican, with all that goes with that. And that's not so! Most of us are very fair and kind people. And we are smart. We recognize that if the republican party has it's way, autistic people will be among those hurt the most.

I know that the republican crowd around here is going to be drawn to this thread like flies to honey and that they will likely take it over. I'd like to ask for them to keep their complaining to another thread, but that likely won't happen.

So, please post your positive stories here.

You started a thread in the women's forum. Now even I'm confused in the rules for this forum.

I don't know how many threads there were for the women's march but I'll respond to this one anyways. I marched in my home town and the turnout was incredible. At least 2000 people. It was good to see so many people at 9:00am in a very conservative small city demanding rights for women and pretty much everybody else. I saw Black Lives Matter signs mixed in among the pink hats. I'd wanted to add something for autism to the back of my sign but couldn't come up with anything so quick. Really great morning for me. When I got home I parked my sign from the march next to my Clinton sign. It has a black bunting draped on it and may stay on the front lawn for several more years. :D
