I'm now getting concerned. I started my period when I was 10. I'm 17 now and it still skips a month or two. But, this is the longest yet I've been without a period. Do you think I should wait one more month just in case?

EDIT: Nevermind. Funny thing is, is that my period literally started several minutes after posting this. What kind of magic is that?

I'm 25 and my periods aren't always regular. I never go more than six weeks without my period.

It still wouldn’t hurt to talk to a doctor about it. You could have something like PCOS which causes irregularity for lots of women.

Are you skinny? It's typical for underweight people to not have regular period. The body needs enough fat to maintain the cycle. Many athletes don't have period at all. My period wasn't regular until I got heavy enough in my late 30s. Now it's like a clock and I know exactly when it would start.

I thought I had gone through the change of life about two years ago. Today, I found out I was wrong. I hope this isn't a sign of something serious.

Sorry that I haven't posted.

I'm 5'2 130lbs. I'm basically 10lbs away from being considered overweight.
I have a hard time exercising because of heart problems recently.
I think it might be anxiety/stress causing my period to be irregular.

It does seem to work in some odd way that when you take action about a concern it will right itself if it can. Just start a post sooner the next time its late!
