So, I was thinking of starting a Beauty Channel on Youtube for Aspie/Autistic women, either by myself or with some friends, and I was wondering, what would you guys want from a Beauty Channel made just for you? Basics? Character Looks (Hatsune Miku/Tifa/Aerith/Fem Jack Frost/etc/etc)? Evening Looks? Something Silly and fun? Also, do you guys want Hauls? (A display of makeup I would've recently purchased and me saying why it's awesome) Reviews? I know a lot of beauty gurus use lighting to make the makeup look better, so would you guys prefer 'Honest Lighting', or lighting without fancy tricks? Would you guys prefer recorded voiceovers? Would you like a clear description of the products I would use? Or, would you like to get vague "I'm using x type of product" description? Anything you say (playfully serious, of course!) will help!

Good idea! Since all of my special interests have revolved around fictional characters, I vote for Character Looks. Honest Lighting would be appreciated, and I'd like to see your hauls too. Specific descriptions of the products you're using would be nice too.

Thank you!

Thanks for the insight, IdahoRose! Anybody else interested? Any word on voice overs?

You could do a mix of prerecorded and live narration, depending on the type of segment and who is doing the talking. If the person tends to say "y'know" and "like" a lot, that would drive me nuts.

I'm interested in basics of hair styling because I'm all thumbs with that kind of thing. Would that be part of this enterprise?
Maybe tips for what to do if you regret freaking out and giving yourself hideous, crooked bangs?

And how about a segment that addresses how to get your makeup the same on both sides of your face?

I have really short hair, but frequently wear wigs, so hairstyling is iffy...as for symmetrical application, I think I'll address something I like to call the See n Copy Skill in a video I will title 'How to use Beauty Tutorials'. Hauls will likely be filmed live, but since I have multiple verbal tics, VoiceOvers will probably be better for tutorials.

Keep giving me your input! Every little bit helps! :)

I realise this is an old post but did anyone do a beauty channel in the end? if so, has anyone covered sensory issues with certain fabrics or make up?
