A woman whom I am friends with said she wears her boyfriend's boxers/boxer briefs and while I am not saying there's anything wrong with it, would you say for women on the spectrum it's common?

I've always worn female underwear. Of course, it's the more comfortable, functional underwear actually made for *real* women and not some pervy male fantasy of what women *should* wear.

To answer the question, you have to find out what percent of autistic versus neurotypical women wear men's underwear

Correlation versus causation

Not everyone will admit to crossdressing

Homophobia

Stigma

Wears as in as her daily underpants or when she's chilling at home (or like to sleep in)?

The later isn't odd for any female to do. Husbands and boyfriends often will have some some of their clothes (shirts/sweaters or boxers primarily) stolen by their female partner.

It's probably just more comfortable for a woman to wear boxers than it is to wear skimpy panties.

I heard skimpy panties can be uncomfortable.

I once had a girlfriend who wore boxers. She was very beautiful, actually. And she wasn't the least bit "lesbian" or masculine. Most of the time, she wore torn-up jeans and tee-shirts. She didn't wear any makeup at all.

She loved to make love with men.

I think normal underwear are more comfortable to wear than boxers because boxers tend to bunch and you have to adjust them to make them lay right. They don’t work underneath anything form fitting.

I don't wear men's underwear unless I have to.

I wear boyleg style women's underwear. Cannot stand normal women's underwear, definitely no lace etc. If they didn't make boyleg undies I would wear men's.

I wear the most old fashioned granny panties. They're so comfortable. Even more comfortable before because I like them loose fitting. Now I've grown to fill them. :D Men's underwear don't fit right, waist too big and hips too small.

I wear my husband's underwear sometimes. For me, it's a stimulation thing. Women's underwear either feels too present in the case of the "normal" cut or whatever, or rolls up funny around my legs in the case of women's "boxers." But it depends on how obsessively I'm noticing physical sensations on a given day.

I wear men's socks does that count?

And men's trousers and shirts and hoodies.

But not pants. They look as if they would bunch up.

I do but I'm nb.

It was the first male clothes I wore, after shops started replacing briefs with bikini briefs or whatever the stupid ones are which pretend to cover everything but don't.

It's perfectly comfortable as long as it's boy underwear and as long as it's boxers. I assume for a taller woman short men's ones would be fine.

They should bring back bloomers for women.
