I just found out that I have asperger's. I have two sons on the spectrum and after much denial have accepted the idea that I have asperger's.

I have light and sound sensitivities. I also have body awareness problems (position in space). I've been working on finding coping mechanisms (sunglasses, weighted back back, etc.), but I'm a woman w/ autism and would like to talk to other women about dealing w/ the day to day issues of having autism, raising kids, making friends, etc.

I'd love to be an e-mail pal. I don't have kids but I do work as a therapist for kids w/ autism. (I'm 27 and recently diagnosed.)
