I want to get this off my chest.

I hate bras and panties.

And much of the time I wear neither.

I hate being constricted. I get around this by wearing a jacket over my shirt or dress. Sometimes I wear dresses with a little padding on top to make it less obvious.

As far as panties, I just hope people dont notice. This is also wear the jacket comes in.

I discovered magellan baselayer tops andpants at Academy. Ermahgawd theyre so comfy! I wish I could walk around in public in my magellans sans bra and panties! :D

I just don't like wearing clothes full stop.

If I could get away with being naked 24/7 then I'd be quite happy.

As for underwear. Well, I always wear it when I go out...well most of the time anyway. But never when I'm at home.

You're right, it is far to constricting.

Well there's no reason why you shouldn't go.

I quit wearing pantues in high school because I HATE them! Whenever I can get away with going bra-less I do that too. So I totally feel you on this one!

I used to wear panties that are too small for my butt. Is it weird?

I only wear cotton "granny " panties when I'm dressed up fancy. :D Other times I wear panties made by myself with cotton jersey. They're big and loose, I actually wore them throughout my pregnancies, but who would even know I'm wearing those? Tight clothes are just aspie unfriendly. I wish the baggy trend would come back. Still I don't understand why underwear need to be tight. Do they make your body any smaller or prevent sagging and aging? I really don't think so. Maybe it's a cultural leftover from the days when tight corset indicate a person's moral standard. :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one with unorthodox underwear practices

I guess I'm in the minority in this thread. I wear underwear almost all the time (It would be stupid of me if I wore them in the shower), but I don't always wear a bra. My breasts swell and get sensitive sometimes, so I just go braless. I like wearing those Hanes panties you can get in packs because they're cheaper and I tend to get stains in them.

The only underwear I wear are boxer briefs and loose undershirts so that sweat doesn't get on my shirts, except I switch to regular briefs during my menstrual cycle so that the pads will fit onto the crotch. Nothing bra-like whatsoever.

I haven't worn "women's underwear" in years. All of that crap is ugly, uncomfortable, and a scam. Panties fall apart in no time, yet my boxer briefs last years and years. Panties get stuck in your nooks and crannies, boxer briefs give plenty of room to breath and don't cling to the flesh.

I hate bras and don't wear one around the house when I'm just wearing a tshirt and sweat or jeans but I do wear one with nicer clothes and with a tshirt when I go somewhere if I can't just wear a sweater over it. I have about 8 or 9 bras but I usually only wear one, because it's the most comfortable. I have a very padded one I wear with lower cut things so I have a bit of cleavage because it pushes what I do have up and closer together creating an illusion of more than whats there, I have a "bullet bra" that I wear with certain retro outfits, a strapless bra that I wear with things that would show the straps, and I even have a longline bra that I wear with certain pretty clingy dresses along with a panty girdle which flattens my lower abdomen and the longline bra takes over where the panty girdle ends and so I don't have a muffin top there. I'm not overweight or anything so there isn't much to tuck in there, and it's not uncomfortable just snug, and it makes those dresses look so much better on me, even though they aren't tight feeling, just clingly.

As for panties being a scam and not lasting long, like a previous poster said, well I don't know where you're buying your panties but I have some I've had for five or six years. I have my favorites which are the most comfortable, and I have certain ones for my period because of the way they fit and I wear pads, not tampons. I even have some that are just because they are pretty, but I rarely wear them. I can't wear thongs though, my daughters buy almost exclusively thongs, but that would drive me insane. The goal of underwear is to stay out of my crack!

For the girl who said she never wears underwear at all, what do you do on your period? Even if you use tampons, don't you need something there in case it leaks? That way it won't get on your clothes.

I hate all bras unless they are sports bras, all else can burn in the eternal fires for all I care.

I hate bras for several reasons. Never worn them inside the house. I'm not sure about panties.
And it's practically fine all around; only ones living with me is my sister and my mom. But I don't go around anywhere naked however; I'm cold sensitive, and I don't like exposure.

Hmm, I never tried sports bras before...

I used to wear sports bras as my everyday bra. They lift my breasts too much and make my chest look bigger than it is. I got tired of the elastic bands wearing out from repeated washings. They are expensive and not terribly comfortable (although better than regular bras). It was at that point that I stopped wearing bras altogether. Better to spend that money on clothes that I actually want and enjoy wearing.

I only wear very plain, comfortable underwear. And it must be solid coloured. I hate patterned underwear.
