I met so many people in the past who knew nothing about autism. And because I was an attractive woman it made things even harder. And I am sure that there are still plenty of ignorant people who employ autistic women, who disclose their condition, and these women get no understanding or support. They get fired. Or they don't get the job at all. That's a problem in the United States. It's why I am terribly traumatized. My parents suffered too. I have horrible memories from my past and they are only reinforced when I have to use my computer or phone and I see the hackers.
