I am bisexual and I've always wanted to try it with a woman, but I can't seem to meet any lesbians or bisexual or women who would be open-minded to this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

where in the world are you?

Do you not have a community where one would "expect" to find like minded individuals? I know that here in Toronto you would have little trouble....

Always go for common interests spots. Local events, clubs, areas, etc.

Wear a T-shirts that screams your preference ? :P ha (only half joking~cuz I like crazy awareness t-shirts!)

Take a class at a college campus, something you're interested in - campuses seem to be a gathering place for the open-minded.

You can always find lesbians at woman's softball, basketball and volleyball games. Also in colleges and at Unitarian churches.

There are usually clubs/bars...though if you're not in a bigger city they may be more difficult to find or require a longer drive.

Also if you're just curious, many adult clubs (exotic dance variety) cater to female patrons who come in for a visit.

It might help to let us know where you live and age. If there's another gal in your area on WP might work out for you.

Most of my experiences with girls took place at college. It was definitely a good place to meet girls. The problem was that the ones I met were unsure or uncomfortable about their sexuality. I wouldn't have minded if they were honest and up-front about that, but they weren't, maybe due to insecurity.

At Unitarian churches, huh? There's a UU church I want to start attending in teh spring, but I might have to move that up. ;)

Seriously though, as a bi-woman who wants to try a relationship with a woman, I'm in the same quandry. I'm thinking of internet personals, which is how I've met alot of males I've dated too. Or, since I'm broke, maybe a local bi/lesbian group for ladies in my area?

The thing is, I don't want to throw it in my mother's face until I've met someone I want to date because she is not going to take this too well. But on the same hand, it's about time to live my life for me, so I won't let her feelings assuade me from something I really want to do, if nothing else to get some things straight in my head and heart.

Womens Studies course at college/uni was how it happened for me , and after that was simply people knowing people.
Before that flatmates of a friend just happened to be gay, but i wasn't able to show interest, too scared/confused.
And yes, women only night clubs if you dare. Or feminist events, gay pride marches/happenings. You can go along as a supporter, and .. just see how it goes.

Good luck!
