Girls do you prefer the tall dark handsome type or the blonde haired type of guy?

"Blonde" is feminine. You mean blond, don't you?

I'm too old to care about hair colour (mine's going grey). It's whether I can carry on an intelligent conversation that matters to me these days.

Tall and handsome I don't think really have to do with hair color.

A better question would be tall handsome brunette vs tall handsome blond. Or brunette vs blond. Or tan vs pale.

Just seems like a biased question to me :P

Anyway at first I preferred tall stocky blonds but I'm more of a brunette kind of girl now.

My "ideal" height range is 5'8" to 5'10", which probably isn't considered tall.
I don't think hair color is important, and "hansome" is subjective.

Ah. You...again.
With the hair posts...again.

Do you really think about nothing but hair and appearances?

no preference really..
Appearance in guys is usually secondary.

I don't think I have any preference, but all the guys I've gone for in my life seem to be dark haired, except for one who was brown haired. Interesting...

This subject actually came up on another forum I was on once. This guy, who's blond, found that women he met through the personals seemed to prefer dark hair in men. I guess it looks more serious. He had no problems meeting women who were interested in him, but still, this was a reaction he noticed. I guess whether blond hair is good or bad depends on if you're a surfer or a banker.

andrie nice to have you back again 8O.

Anemone I noticed as well when I was shopping in the mall the other day that I saw a few blonde men and all of them seemed to be hooked up with brunnetes. I think brunnete girls might be trying to grab more blonde men (becuase they are getting rarer) before they die out and go extinct, since the blond haired blue eyed trait will disapper in a few thousand years or even less. Plus my friend is blonde and his longterm girlfriend is brunnete as well. Same with redheads as well they may disapper in next few hundred years.

I prefer redheads best of all, but two quick tempers in one house didn't work out so well! I don't have a real preference for blond vs. brunette... except for brunettes with light eyes (blue or green), they're pretty rare and I find the combo arresting. Natural blonds with brown eyes are more appealing to me than blond & blue. Guess I'm just ornery that way, I like contrasting combinations! I'm hardwired to lust after tall men (6 ft & up), but height doesn't really come into play after that initial attraction.

Hubby #1 was blonde w/ blue, 6'1" and thin
Hubby #2 was blond w/ green, 5'7" and stocky
Hubby #3 is brunette & hazel/green, 5'9" and thin

If I were to go on appearances only, I'd have to say that angular bone structure takes precedence over coloring and height in my book.

Sometimes I find myself attracted to men due to purely their personality and attitude and physical looks barely come into it. But if I had a preferred aesthetic look, it would be short to average height - 5'10" or a little less - and dark hair and eyes.

I do without exception find men appealing who would be considered by many to be more 'cute' than 'hot'. Very masculine, muscular types do nothing for me; I usually find them actively ugly.
