Women and the new Economic Package

Just received my list of all 15,000 or so new program discriptions that were included in the economic package and to be honest I haven't found a single one yet endorsed by NOW or any other 'rights' type organizations of any description so what is this piece of crap our fearless representatives just agreed to? I for one don't call this 'change' and it really looks likes more of the same old stuff we've all been getting for about the last 25 years or so.

This is will very very bad for all of us. I am very worried.

I am very worried about the clauses for health care and the person who makes the choices if the old nad disabled live or die.

That is my main concern, as that is Nazi life or death.

But you are right, they just snuck in so much crap that we have no idea how our lives will change.

Time for me to leave the country.

I have to agree. Instead of breaking down the large banking corporations and balancing out the power infrastructure, like Obama said he would do, my heart fears that, he is not walking the right path, instead he is allowing himself to be seduced by the path of power and he is loosing sight of what he used to feel. That or he is a liar that played us. I am still hoping he simply is not seeing the lesson of this yet, and might have a chance to see reality in the now and fix this debacle he is being swooned by.

It ***IS*** change! It is EXACTLY what all liberals claimed to want! CHANGE! It means MORE money will be spent, etc...

OK, my friends will be sure of who I am after this. I have said for years that people ******DO NOT WAN'T CHANGE!! !! !! !*******! NOBODY does! ANTS DON'T! BEES DON'T! CAT'S DON'T PEOPLE DON'T! CHANGE IS BAD! They want IMPROVEMENT!

As for NOW, a lot of women are saying that the US should put ENFORCED and COMFORTABLE sexual equality over any recovery! They look at the "shovel ready" jobs and figure THEY are "traditionally male". They then say "SEXIST!", and "WE DON'T NEED 'shovel ready' jobs!"! Yet THAT is ALSO what liberals asked for! They wanted the government to "create jobs". Since they CAN'T do that, they have to create a NEED, and promise money! The easiest and biggest such need? INFRASTRUCTURE, BUILDING, MOVING! But women CAN fill those jobs and, all things being remotely close, WILL be prefered!

And WHY scream SEXIST, when I could just as easily scream BLUE COLLAR!?!?!?

Frankly, I think they should sue the executives that got all that money. HELL, a company sued ME for $4000 because they paid it, a PORTION of what they owed me, to me, and THEY went bankrupt! They should then tell the companies to BE REASONABLE! They should ENFORCE that! COST!?!?!? ******************NOTHING******************! They are ALREADY paying people that are supposed to do that. It could net them BILLIONS, and save hundreds of billions more! They should then buy the bad mortgages from the banks AT CURRENT MARKET. COST? Basically NOTHING! The really already paid for them. This will be merely forgiving debt, and accepting the payments. FORGET about converting signals to digital! FORGET about the vouchers to upgrade users to digital! FORGET about the new buildings! FORGET about the moves! COST? Basically NOTHING!

As for the idea of infrastructure, etc? SUPPOSEDLY, they ALREADY took care of it. That is the NORMAL function of government. They COULD enforce the laws THERE, and improve efficiency.

But NOPE, they are going to have places pay to switch to digital FEW will watch because they don't have the money to pay for the coupons. They want to build new buildings and move into them. INCREDIBLE! WHAT A WASTE!

I'm not sure I heard all of what you were saying 2ukenkerl but I think I get the drift of your sentiments on the subject. I do however identify almost 100% Alisscious with respect to disappointment in the execution of what we were told the 'change' plan was all about.
I guess the most unfortunite thing about washington politics is that the wishes of the American People really don't matter at all compared to the career paths of the congress people and senators who have their own unique agendas and plans for us peons.

I was talking to a very brilliant woman today, and she reminded me that we have no idea what pressures and back door manipulations are occurring in respect to those who have maintained the power for longer than any president's term. I will suspend my melancholy a little longer, in hopes that Obama knows he is being played himself, and Obama is secretly trying to tie it all around back on them, on both sides of any supposed government bent on continued control. I can only project my own awarenesses though, and so I sit and wait ans watch.
