Does your man like makeup or prefers your natural appearance? Mine likes a more natural appearance and doesn't like nailpolish which I do. But I consider myself blessed as he always tells me how sexy I am eventhough I'm fortyish and had my baby weight for too long

Mine doesn't really care. Which is good because I hardly ever bother to wear any.

Mine doesn't like makeup. He likes the more natural look, which saves me a lot of money.

Mine likes me either way. I wear light makeup most of the time because I like to.

My man likes no makeup. If I do use some, he likes natural shades. Like he'd rather a nude lipstick over red. But he does like it when I use black eye liner as long as I don't over do it.

I love wearing make up on special occasions. It's like art to me. When I was single, my thing was (and still is once in a while) an Egyptian look. I used to line the top of my eyes boldly in black pencil and then have a thin line of liquid gold in the center of it. I also liked wearing a lot of gold chunky metal as jewelry.

I think make up is a girl thing. I don't think guys like it too much. I remember my dad telling me when I was somewhere in late highschool that guys like to see us girls once in a while dress down. But I guess it depends on what the guy wants... like love or lust type thing.

I also notice a huge difference between US East and west with it. In the west, they are more natural and in the east, you'll just see more bright colors on girls like Fire Engine Red Lipstick, glittery pastel eye shadow, etc.

I was once with someone who, like his father, banned make-up in partners. I've never paid attention to what another says about my appearance, and do what I want with it. I feel compliments are an intrusion: they mostly see a female they'd like to own or patronize; they've never seen the male mind or person inside.

I don't think I realised how many men don't like makeup. Must be a chick thing then.

I know there is a local newsanchor that is Asian and I like her. She is pretty, but her eyemakeup I just don't like as it doesn't look natural. Both she and another anchor wear too much makeup for me. Their eyeshadow and lipstick standsout rather then a smooth overall look to the face. JMO but I don't like makeup that is too overpowering I guess.

I very rarely wear make up, which makes my bf quite happy as he is allergic to it :)

i seem to have a really bad reaction to make-up, so i do not wear it.
i can wear some very, very thinned and light foundation if i go out somewhere, but even that can hurt my eyes.

I never wear make up and my bf doesn't mind it.

I don't wear make-up as I can't be bothered, don't like the feel of it, and I'm not looking at my face anyway!

I remember once reading that women wear make-up for other women, but wear perfume for men. I think there is a grain of truth in that. Most men I know don't like very made up women, but will comment on perfume, and will remember a woman's perfume. I think it's more subtly sensuous.

That is an interesting observation. I've heard that women wear clothes for other women moreso then for men, but not perfume. Will have to do my own informal survey

Same here. I prefer to use some make up because it adds up a few years.

He doesn't care. I never wear the stuff (and only grudgingly did once in a while because my friend liked to use my face as practice), I take a look at all the ingredients in some of it and affirm I'm better off as I am. And it's a waste of money. And I don't even get to look at myself as often as everyone else, there is no point.

I' allergic to makeup, so if a guy had a problem there will be little he could do, unless he wanted me to look like a tomato and constantly scratch my face.

The makeup that bothers me the most is liquid foundation. It always feels like I'm wearing a mask and I would be releaved to get home and clean it off my face. I often would smear it or find it on clothing as I constantly am rubbing or scratching my face out of nervous habit or obviously when my nose itches.

I am use the mineral powder foundation now and find I like that product a lot better. I have products from Physcians formula and Almay, but there are others I would like to try along with these brands.
