This is so corny but always a fun question to ponder.

I am Charlotte. Uptight, optimistic, trusting, reserved, sweet, a little traditional. A little aimless about my career compared to my friends.

Prefer to be married with a family than to have a killer career and glamorous life. (Which is odd and old-fashioned in "my world".)

Is there a character that mass-murders them all and burns down the town?

Miranda is one bad day away from doing that.

I'm Samantha definitely, or as much as it's possible to be when you factor in mild Asperger's, LOL.

But I took a quiz on Bebo and it said I'm Miranda...I think she might be slightly aspie actually.

i have watched the show, and really, I can't relate to ANY of them..really...not even a tiny bit.

It is part of the reason why I have found the show to be fascinating.

ok...well..maybe I can relate just a teensy weensy bit to whatsherface who had so much trouble having a baby and married Cyle McLaughlin...

but just because I can't have kids...I am not obsessed with having them

Charlotte....but not really....

Didn't one of her husbands turn out to be gay?

If I were the normal "marrying" type, that sounds like something that would happen to me...but she is..and I am not...

so even though I bear no resemblance...she is as close as I can get.

I like watching Samantha the most. Meaning, she lights up a room. She's beautiful and radiant and graceful. Her voice is even pretty. Or maybe I just like staring at all her sparkly jewelry and clothes.

I think they are all a little aspie. The show itself is a little aspie. They are all wonderfully clueless and in their own little worlds. Each one is introspective and obsessive, in their own way.

The fact that Carrie narrates over scenes that she isn't in, is pretty aspie.

I really always thought the show was the antithesis of "aspie".

I've always thought the same. I have a similar kind of "narration" inside my head, actually.

I have no idea who is who on this show, since I don't have a TV. But I've seen them referred to as narcissists. "Narcissist" is probably closer than "aspie". "Rich" also comes to mind. (I own one pair of hiking boots. No fancy shoes.)

Careful - I was accused of over and over and believed for a long time that I was a narcissist before I was diagnosed as aspie. There is, however, a huge difference.

I deeply care about people - every single person on earth - I just have a very hard time showing it. I run over people but not for sport - I'm just clueless and overly-focused sometimes.

All the women on the show seem to be very caring - but they can have cruel senses of humor. Another aspie characteristic.

And besides, "rich" isn't really a personality type. Its not even a state of mind.

Hi! Thanks for posting this topic. I am Samantha. I love Samantha's voice and her jokes are the best. I don't think there is anything Aspergers about the show, but I think that even Aspergers people have their nonAspergers moments.

I liked Samantha, but I'm certainly not Samantha. I don't think I'm as strong as Miranda. I'm not Charlotte, because she seems a bit clueless about some sexual practices. I'm probably Carrie.
