yeah? look again. When they announced, Bianca took care to look neutral, but that little sly smile tilted up the edges of her mouth before the camera paned. It gave me chills for I have seen that look before.

Some questions I'd be interested in hearing Heather respond to:

1. Which of the other contestants did you feel closest to?
2. How did you feel about Bianca?
3. How do you feel about the way you were portrayed on the show? Are you happy with the way the show represented AS?
4. How well did the other contestants understand your condition? How well did the show's producers understand?
5. What was the hardest part about being on the show?
6. What are your future plans?

I look up to her too. She's taller than me.

I have an interview with Heather scheduled for 12:00 EST tomorrow. If you guys have any questions you want me to ask her, please let me know.

Tell her an old lady with Asperger's Syndrome started posting her weekly pic on her desktop on her computer at work. This led to an open discussion of AS as many other co-workers watched her progress week to week, living her difficulties and challenges and victories. Nothing else has been more relaxing and healing to that old lady than to finally be able to chat openly about her own AS because Heather's beautiful spirit was shining through for us all.
Thank you,

I'm so sad to see her go. Overall she won more, got more praise on her photos and her ability to learn and just did better than the others. She was not the only one to get disqualified from that challenge, too! 3 of them were way late. She was the latest, but still. If you took her and the other two late ones and stood them side by side, compared photos, challenge wins, etc, she should have stayed.

I agree that there is something wrong with Saleisha knowing Tyra before. She attended her camp and got prepped and directed by Tyra before coming to ANTM. Tyra did disclose it, but does that make it right?

I think Saleisha is quite boring looking.

It's down to Saleisha or Bianca I guess. The boring look vs the mean heart.

Normally I don't watch shows like this at all, because the fashion business and everything like that doesn't mean a thing to me.

That said, Heather made it worth watching. I seriously don't care what happens from here on out, except that I hope Bianca doesn't win. She has a mean attitude, which is upsetting to me. I'm mostly just sad that i can't continue to tune in and watch more of Heather. I want to see more! Which is a huge thing for me to say, because as I said, fashion and modeling and looking like something from a magazine is usually pretty disgusting to me. She changed that. She was the only one that looked good to me. She was the only one with an ounce of good personality (and she had a lot of it, at that!). This just goes to show what this industry really stands for, in my opinion. BUT, all of that aside, Heather did great. She did much better than I could have done, for sure. She certainly had an impression on me. I wish I could thank her personally for showing me that not all models are dumb flakes. She meant something. And I know how hard that must have been. Sometimes it was just painful to watch. I would have freaked out. She kept it together. I hope she feels so good about herself, with all that she accomplished. She is definitely the winner in my mind. Thanks Heather! You're awesome.

I wish I could think of a question to ask her, Alex. But I'm far too overwhelmed at the thought of getting to ask one, and so I cannot think of any! I hope the interview goes very well!

I'm so sad that she left the show. I mean, it was going to happen eventually. I've grown accustomed to her being on every week. I never heard of Asperger's until she showed up. That interview vid they showed before the season aired, I found her so relatable. She's so human. I'm also impressed how she carried herself throughout the entire competition.

It makes me so sad because I went through so much abuse like she went through on the show, often times physical too. I know all too well what it's like to be the joke. I'm had every inch of me humiliated for somebody's fun. I never thought in my entire life that I would see somebody being put through even a bit of what I've been put through on national TV. I can't believe those girls are still on TV. How do people grow up to be such b*****s without feeling a shred of guilt?

I've read what you guys have said for a few weeks now and I've felt a bit guilty in doing so but I think you all seem to be really nice people. I am sorry that most of you have been subject to the bad behavior of NTs. I hope that people become more aware of how people with Aspergers can actually be the better people.

ETA: BTW, Saleisha has done more than just go to Tyra's T-Zone camp. She also did runway on Tyra's show this spring. I also heard that on one of the previous cycles, she was in fashion show that ANTM contestants had to participate in. This one is from the Tyra Banks Show(she's near the end of the vid):

I have a difficult time believing, with the way they seem to be coddling Saleisha, that this season is not fixed. Either way, nobody in my family plans on watching anymore because there's nobody worth cheering for anymore.

I don't think she's the best model of the group, but now I kinda hope Chantal wins 'cause of the way she stuck up for Heather when the other girls were denying her a bed when they got to China.

Heather made it to the final five but flubbed her go-sees (interviews with designers to try to book jobs). She got lost and only completed one interview. She was also late getting back to the place where the models needed to go after the go-sees. My guess is that she got overwhelmed by the situation and shut down. By the way, they were all in Shanghai, China.

She continued to produce gorgeous photos throughout. I'm sure some agencies will snap her up.

I'm sad Heather is gone but I'm glad that she was around as long as she was so that she could help bring AS to the general public. She was one of the biggest examples out there and I don't think most people even knew what AS was before Heather was on the TV landscape. Just ask someone in the general public what Asperger's is and you'll see what I mean.

As for a question for Heather?

Many of us have sensory issues like light sensitivity, sensitivity to loud noises, etc. Did living in a house where there were tons of bright lights, crew wandering around, girls always yelling, bother you in any way?

Despite being kicked off, I know Heather will get something out of being on this show. Most of these girls get nothing, but I have a feeling there are great things in the future for Heather.

One thing that I've learned from this is that modeling is a VERY tough career choice, and I have new respect for models that I did not really have before.

Going to look for jobs reminded me of when I worked as an itinerant English teacher in Asia.

Tell her my son is a hottie and if she kicks her current BF to the curb, message me!! ! :D

First a comment - way to go Heather you did yourself proud!!

Secondly questions -

You appeared to "loose steam" on the show, meaning overall the pace of the show picked up near the end (China trip)? How much down time did you have on the show to recharge or was the pace of the show very hectic and rapid?

Of all the girls in the competition, which one did you like the most? like the least?

Now a comment: My wife and I discussed how awesome your modeling pictures were. You've got that part down. What you seemed to have trouble with was the social area. Have you considered hiring a personal assistant to aid in scheduling, networking and of course helping with traveling and those crazy directions?

Bottom line - You rocked!! !

ask her if she had any trouble with math in school.
She's a great ambassador for us!
