People on the Autistic Spectrum may have huge desires for certain sensory parts to be stimulated.

(eg, scratching the head, white noise, heat).

But if you indulge in these sensory obsessions, then are you only going to make self more dependant on them and make your general condition worse?

If you go cold turkey, then it in the long run, it may actually be better for you, as it may re-wire your brain to diminish some of the other negative traits of AS such as insociability.

After all, these obsessions are just naother part of insociability. Not needing to obsess on something sensory, means you are better able to concentrate and engage in a social situation.

All these questions you're asking, have you been thinking them over and collecting them for a long time? It seems you've done some research but I don't understand why you bombard people with all your thoughts at the same time. No offense.

Most of the questions come from within, from personal experience. Im not diagnosed with AS, but people in my lifetime have hinted that I may have it or be autistic.

Ive also done a bit of internet research into AS.

im bombarding people with questions that Ive been obsessing about for a long time. Some have only recently come into my head.

Maybe im trying to wokr out if im a likely AS candidate, Im also fascinated by the condition too.

My senses are overloaded on a daily basis regardless of whether or not I stim, and thats been happening since long before I was purposely seeking out particular sensations. I don't really look at it as "good" or "bad" it just is and I see no reason why I shouldnt look for the stimulation I enjoy to help balance out what I have no control over.

I enjoy giving my taste buds a good hammering.

a cruncher, not a sucker.

If you want so much as a square.... you'd better hide the chocolate.
