I got 140 for Aspie... Still confused as to why thinking leather is sexy would have an effect on your autism/lack-of... isn't it personal choice?

I swear to God, I started laughing when I was about halfway through this test. This explains SO much stuff about me. And that thing about repeating stuff in your head? I have that! I never thought anything of it though.

The test sucks as it gives an answer, i.e., you're very likely an "aspie". I'm very likely to have schizoaffective disorder if I go by my results on "proper" psychiatric tests when I see my result compared to those diagnosed with such, they don't tell me such explicitly because there's no way that a single written test can say I have it or not (I don't). It can point you in a certain direction, but that's all.

The last time I took it it didn't have a single question pertaining to OCD, yet it said my OCD diagnosis is likely "correct".

I can take this test and get a AS factor of 100%, and then take it again and get a AS factor of 0%....

therefore the test is pointless, its just about what you think about yourself.

The test seems pretty accurate if you answer honestly. Any test that you take with the intention of proving you have something is going to be skewed. It seems pretty good for self exploration and gathering data.

my results were something like 165 AS, 50 or so NT. ( your diagnosis is most likely correct)

Of course, and that's what all tests are there for. When it says that you most likely have it, and you can receive the diagnosis of such is erroneous and lacking in objectivity (without saying to see a professional).

The test should grab many who're diagnosed (bigger the sample the better), with proof provided of their diagnosis; their average score can then be used as something to compare your score to, rather than saying you have it or not. Then you can go from there.

I took the quiz five times, over different days, and all of them gave different predictions, although all agred that I have OCD, Asperger and social phobia. They only differed in ADHD, dyslexia and bipolar diagnoses.

I think that the quiz would be a BIG deal more precise if it allowed us to rate the strenght of each preference. Having only three options for each question is a bit inaccurate, since we could choose 1 instead of 2, or vice-versa, depending on our momentary feelings. Six or seven options (as in the Australian Scale for Asperger's Sydrome) would be the best.

Before I got like 142 out of 200 for Aspie. I think it's because I didn't really understand a few of the questions.

I can't answer most of those questions, they are based off of normalcy rules. And starts with "Does your loved one...?" when it says self test at the top.

I like the Aspie quiz, each time you take it it gives different questions, and returns with the pictoral graph of the full spectrum NT to Aspie. If someone is honest with the quiz, then it returns an honest answer. Just because some people want to play the quiz, doesn't mean the quiz is faulty.
