I can't feel temperature. It's probably because of my CP.

I have cold hands because I have no-one to hug.

I have cold hands, and when I touch people they get little patches of frost on them. Once when I touched a leprechaun he threatened to file a lawsuit.

My hands and feet and nose are often freezing, even when my surroundings aren't.

Anemia? Maybe Autties are more prone to be deficient in iron?...

Wouldn't Anemia also carry the symptoms of constant tiredness? I think it is just a circulation issue.

What did we decide as far as hit points for cold hands? Perhaps it subtracts two hits points on contact, depending on the sensitivity (cold hands used on neck or torso does 2, used on lower arms or legs does 1 point of damage, used on face, hands or feet does no damage) and does one point of damage to osessor every four rounds? Or would it be better to simply have a 50% chance of stunning the person it is used on for one round, with the same damage being subtracted from the posessor of cold hands? ((Don't ask what system I'm using. I don't know. I would like to convert that to D&D but have no idea how; from comparing weapon descriptions, it seems close.))

And by the way: My hands really can get cold enough to be used as weapons; I honestly think I could hurt someone almost as much by my lack of circulation than with nails, scratching/gouging the face discounted.

There is an interesting theory that blood levels of nitric oxide are generally low in autism/aspergers. Nitric oxide is very important signaling molecule in the brain.

But also, nitric oxide is a major control system for the opening and closing of arteries. (Incidentally, it is also nitric oxide that is responsible for erection: viagra works by increasing nitric oxide in the penis, and this causes the arteries to dilate and open, thus bringing in more blood).

So if you have poor circulation you you hands and feet, it might be because your arteries are a little on the contracted side, due to low nitric oxide.

One way of raising nitric oxide is to drink beetroot juice, which is high in nitrates, and these nitrates help produce nitric oxide.

Beetroot juice is also a good treatment for high blood pressure (when your arteries are contracted, blood pressure goes up; when your arteries are relaxed (dilated), blood pressure goes down: Drinking beetroot juice lowers blood pressure.

Meditation also naturally increases nitric oxide in the brain.

This is so interesting...I have Very poor circulation and get cold easily too! I have been diagnosed with Raynaud's syndrome.......I wonder if there is a link with AS.........

I also used to go outside without a coat as a child. A lack of awareness of temperature at times and bad circulation is a terrible mixture...........

My hands get a lot colder when I am anxious or nervous, which is a lot. I wonder if it has to do with "fight or flight" and circulation changes associated with it.

Yes. I could never understand why other peoples hands were always warm and mine always had to be cold. I remember making a thread about it here once and I got told everyone's hands does that.
My feet are also the first to get cold too.

That's actually a very interesting point. Would I notice if I were constantly tired from anemia as opposed to being constantly tired due to sensory issues?
