I do care that there's a program on TV about 'what the world would be like if humans vanished' on which, according to my husband, a CGI simulation (in the 'what would happen to all our buildings' bit) just showed the Space Needle collapsing. I wasn't watching, but they should have put a warning on screen. I mean! I could have been traumatized!

As for that sports thing, who ever said a person doing well there is a hero? That is one thing I DO care about, the devaluing of the language by such STUPID ideas! In most cases, I agree with everyone here about how so many things are just senseless and not really worth anyone's time.

I second that. In fact, I generally loathe competitive situations (especially if I'm expected to participate). And actually:

I couldn't care less about which "team" wins the office's team-building activity competition

I couldn't care less about "team-building", for that matter

I couldn't care less about whether or not the company I'm working for is "number one"

I couldn't have cared less about my school's sports teams winning when I was in K-12 or college

I don care about: gossip, sports, the fact i spend too much time on the 360, music and the fact that I should spend more time learning how to drive.
