I directed an NT friend to this forum - and his words were "Jesus, it's full of nutters".

Does anyone else get that impression ?

I came here expecting a bunch of looneys and found... sane, intelligent and thoughtfull people. It was a bit of a suprise...

My daughter has a T-shirt that says,
"I'm going to my happy place, and you can't come."

It's good to know that they are repulsed enough to stay away from WP.
I want my happy place to be filled with nice people.

Any internet forum seems nutty until you've lurked or posted in it for a while and got to know some of the members and the 'feel' of the place. This place is no different.

I've met a lot of nutters here...lots of extremists of all stripes, perhaps because aspies don't do anything in moderation.

WP is the most rational, peaceful and civilised forum I've ever posted on. It's usually well-moderated and people behave with good manners and respect each other for the most part. Very different from most of the internet.
