It rained today. It hailed today, too...

Rain is better in summer. BTW, you sound happy. Are you drunk?

I'm the polar opposite to KingdomOfRats, I love the feeling of water/rain on my skin; it's soothing to me. I love swimming underwater, and I stand out in the rain if it's raining.

(It's funny to me when I see everyone run around trying to cover themselves from the rain.)

I love the sound of the rain a lot it makes me feel calmer, the harder the better. I'm not really into being out it usally.

I love the rain, very underappreciated type of weather where I live. Everybody complains about rain. I'm not a big fan of hot, dry summers.

Of course, there was that time when I walked through the pouring which that flooded my clothes and flooded my phone, but I guess that's what I get for buying a cheap rain coat. It's a miracle I didn't catch a cold that time.

The quintessential Australian experience is rain on a tin roof.

I'm with o equals true and intense here. I love the sound of the rain, or any running water. I like to sit on my covered porch and watch it rain.

I also enjoy being near the ocean, especially at night.

Both of my sons, who are autistic, love being in the water. My younger son also loves being out in the rain. My older son has a more typical response to that, covering his head and getting under shelter as quickly as reasonably possible, but without any exceptional resopnse to it.

Hi there,
I like rain too, even as little boy. In the summer time; the harder the better. Little nuance, when it stay dark and clouded for days and days, I stop loving it and my mood goes down. I also like thunder-storms very must; no better mood-booster then a heavy thunder-sturm. Nowadays, supposedly a fully grown-up, I start yelling quite loudly, BRING IT ON, BRING IT ON. My neighbours probably think I should be institutionalized. Should I?

Best of luck to you all,
Ceesjan

I like rain when I am at home, I guess it's mainly the sense of comfort that comes from feeling protected in a shelter. [mmm, warmth ]

I don't like rain in general, but last saturday it was perfect. i was biking late in the evening. Weather was warm, very slight wind and raining just enough to feel like biking and having a shower at the same time. (Ok, it was in Amsterdam and I was stoned, that helped a bit, but I think it would have been great without that too)

I love the rain except when I have to be out in it, and even then I'm fascinated by it.

I live in a desert, so rain is always a cause for rejoicing, even among the NTs. They say you know someone's an Arizonan if they run to a window to see the rain when the first drops are spotted.
