My nephew got some for his birthday and I just love to build stuff, with or without him.

if it wasnt normal to have legos as an adult, they would put an age limit on buying them.

am twenty four and have a big box full of mega bloks [like lego],am build rows of pattern with them.
couldnt care less if someone thought it wasnt 'normal' to do,am would have to have the smallest amount of respect for those who say it for it to mean anything.

LOL

That is pretty hardcore dedicated ;)

I'm still playing, but I'm retiring soon. I gave my guild notice that I was going to step away once we kill Kil'Jaeden. (The last boss before the next expansion) We're up to him now, so Hopefully I'll be able to hang up the sword and board soon. I've been playing for 3 years, killed every boss in the game (Except KJ), have the only legendary mount in the game(And the Scarab Lord title that comes with it)... I just want to go out on top

It's cute that you play with your family. :)

Back before I started the hardcore raiding, I played with a family, Mom, Dad, Son (In the marines), Daughter (Away at college), Daughter's Boyfriend. Who used the game as their way to stay in touch even though the kids were out of the nest.

I actually went whitewater rafting with them at Yellowstone in 2006, that was good times. :)

The answer to this question is:

Who cares? Can I play?

Last time I played with lego I was helping my ADD nephew build something, was soooo tempting to take over the whole build myself. Made me remember why I loved them.

But helping and watching him build it was fantastic. I let my brother, his wife do whatever and just took it on myself to help him as I saw that he was having trouble

I wish my parents wouldn't have put them up when I was a freshman in HS. I played with them all the time, and still would today, except they'd get mad if I brought them down from the attic right now.

I LOVE lego, tinker-toy and my erector set (all bought from 1972 to 1975). When
I was at IBM I had all my "toys" on my desk. Have a gander at thinkgeek.com
and you'll have an idea what I am takling about (esp the air-bazooka).

Or my favorite cell phone "handset" (ala "Get Smart")

It's silly silly silly ... and looks awesome when pulled from a
backpack and answered on the bus :) the looks are priceless!

You mentioned all my favorites, except Knex, and Lincoln Logs. 8)

At 62 I am manufacturing a magnetic game, do models in paper and glue.

When Lego came out with robots, they expected 14 to 19 to be the main customers, from the product reply cards, the age was 37.

You can never have enough Legos.

OF course it's ok.....

Now you've made me want some legos, or some other such building toy.

actually I get a kick out of the bridge builder series of games. A quick good should turn them up.

I'm 26 years old and I still play with Lego too. I love building from it, but I rarely actually play with what I build, I just build it, look at the result and then tear it apart and start again.

I used to feel weird about still playing with Lego, because I knew that is generally considered childish, so I didn't really tell anyone, until I got to know my husband. He's open minded about childish hobbies and he's fine with me playing with Lego and other stuff, so I don't have to hide it at home now, but I still don't tell other people because I don't need to give them another thing to judge me negatively for.

I see nothing wrong with playing with Lego. It's just a fun hobby and I don't see how it would get you in trouble. It is entirely possible to be a mature and responsible individual with "childish" (by NT definition) hobbies. However, not everyone thinks the same and some people are likely to be judgemental about it if you tell them.

I don't see anything wrong with it.
