Mostly, I need chemicals to get that closely in touch with things. Yes, the fractal nature of reality is absorbing, but the minute to minute demands of keeping a development team on track tend to disrupt its contemplation. My world does require a fair amount of attention to keep it turning - there's the basic life stuff, clothes, food, down time, there's the insulin stuff, there's keeping afloat in a generally hostile work environment. Occasionally there's social stuff to do, but not really often.

My world is basically home.

I can do what I want there, without being told it is wrong or rather.
I can do my routines without people looking at me weird.
All the things I like and need are there.
Home has television. :D
And my girlfriend lives with me.

Things go my way here, and that's how I like it.

My world is filled with mostly normal people but with a percentage of people who have magical super powers, it is kind of like a matrix anime world but not anime. It is like this world but some parts have taken damage from battles and small scale wars, I have prepared a timetable of what is going to happen in the near future. Some nations will fall, technology will increase and there will be cool fights, which are over differences of opinion of how the world should be. Sounds realy bad compared to Dream World, but it has a sense of freedom, philosophy and ausomeness. Realy characters from all my favirout things have a version in the world, and there is nothing like a superhuman supernatureal fight. A new instalment has been the inclusion of spirit fighting, where the spirits can fight independent of the body with swords and such, bet you cant get where I got it from.

From a purely physical standpoint my world is beautiful. There are wonderful patterns of light and sound everywhere, but they are locked into my head and I can't express them or share them with anyone else. At the same time it is also a lonely, empty world devoid of meaning.

I really wish I could express it better because its' so much more...but I can't. It is extremely frustrating...

My world has no people in it. What it does have is lots of animals and trees. I like to do internet research on various topics. I'm kinda interested in politics and I like to be well informed. My current obsession is the daily news and I spend a lot of time browsing the internet for alternative sources of information. Also tv. I'm addicted to the news. My obsession used to be astrology but I haven't had much time for it the last few years. I'm a loner who loves to hike, spend solo time in nature and travel. In the fairly recent past I went to Canada and Hawaii with my Dad and I made a solo trip to India. I tend to brood and dwell on my social shortcomings and try to figure out what I did wrong and what I can do to repair things and cause less pain to myself and others. I'm aloof and avoid social interaction whenever possible.

My world is my lovely little country house, my kid and my wife.

It is music, my guitars, my cd`s and MP3`s.

It is my shack for shortwave radio.

And of course the view and noise I have from my office on the 31st floor of a downtown building in Montreal.

I don't have a world.

I feel like a lost soul that is wandering in a chaotic and foreign world.

Nothing feels like 'mine', except my self.

I consider nothing to belong to 'my space' (my world) or to belong to another world that is not mine.

It all just is. And very confusing.

Books, cats and the Internet. There is considerable overlap here, as one of my favorite Internet sites is cat related.

Calm. Birds chirping. Flutes and harps...UNTIL

the fires break out, the screams, Santa comes by and steals our people and sets the woods on fire.

I retreat into my "own world" several times a day and I always have. I have created many different characters and situations and I exist there as another character, not myself but myself. Some of my characters have been developed over many years and I actually have an unusual attachement to them. I used to write but I found that once I put my "fantasies" to paper I lost them out of my head....or I gave them away. So now I am selfish with them. I found when I was a very young child that in my mind I can do anything and be anything....I think the confines of my own mind or my own world are what keeps me sane.

My world, unlike most of the ones I've read about, isn't really in my own mind (well, I guess it's there too), it's in the world my body inhabits. It's just in the smaller details, the places noone else cares to look or even acknowledge exist. It's really kind of hard to explain, but pretty much places noone else cares about, is where my world is at.

My world is very black and white with little grey areas. Everything is either good or bad, seldom in between. Hmm I thought I would have a lot ot say about my world but I can't think of anything else. 8O
