Why do you take medication? Do you expect/wish it to make you feel better?
I take medication because most days without it I'm physically unable to get up from bed, chew food or carry on a conversation without stumbling over my words, using the wrong words, stopping midsentence, or completely forgetting what we are talking about. Walking down to the mailbox is so exhausting that I need a 4-8 hour nap aftewards and sometimes have to sleep on the couch because I can't make it back to my bed. Thats good enough reason for me.
When you end up having 50-100 seizures a day and can go down to 3 with medicine I'm sure you'll be making certain to take your pills too rather than thinking all medicine is just wishful thinking
