I do too! I've had about every type of domestic rodent. Out of them all I have to give top marks to rats. I had t beautiful males when I was younger and they are so clean, smart and friendly. They're very easy to look after, have a varied diet and you can interact with them more than most small pets. They actualy enjoy being handled and tend not to cower in fear once they know you.
Rats chatter their teeth when they are happy as well!

I used to walk about with them on my shoulders lol.

Aw, cute ratties, Moriath! :D

Now I feel like I should post some pics...
Hmm...

Image
^Here is a (bad) pic of Peek-a-boo. My first pet (anf first hamster) when I moved to Massachusetts. He lived for about 4 years.

Image
^That was my only other hamster. He was one of my more "recent" pets. He was a dwarf hamster, and his name was Bullet. Adorable little bugger, but he was one of the "mean" ones. He liked to bite. I think he lived for only about a year.

Image
^And that is my sister's guinea pig. His social anxiety is worst than mine!

I didn't have any pics of my ratties, though. :( I miss those guys.

Adorable, Moriath! Are they lazy, like most of the male rats I've had?

They are very different from the three girls we had before they seem to just eat and sleep and fight some hehe

They like to sit on our shoulders also

Compared to the girls they are lazy :)
