AAAA Help, I get a java error when I try to chat

Hello:

I get the following error when I chat. Anyone know what's wrong? Thanks,

Connecting...
Unable to connect : java.net.ConnectException : Connection refused

Hi foo

I have tested the chat applet and it is working fine, but you need to click 'Yes' when the security dialog box asks if you want to trust 'web chat', or you won't be able to connect - you will probably need to restart your browser to reset this. :?

Alternatively, you can get a real IRC client like Xchat (free Windows version here) and connect to the server through it. The server's irc.freenode.net; the channel name is #wrongplanet.

This method seems to work best for some reason- I think the chat aplet gets a little buggy.
