First off, I should say I seek out pressure, and like to stick my head under heavy things / hide in tight fuzzy spaces etc. But my biggest problem is I love to rub my head against objects the way a cat does - not even to feel the texture, just to have the lovely feeling of the pressure on my scalp. I just started realizing I do this to people around me - my fiance mostly, but also some family members. But I am terrified of doing it to an acquaintance or stranger - I have caught myself starting to, on some occasions.

Can anyone help me with this?

I also like pressure, mostly on my feet especially but on my body in general. I don't think you can be 'helped' as they say but I would not be at all embarassed in telling a stranger that I had a certain development disorder and wanted to do such and such to them. It's way better to be rebuffed by a potential 'recipient' than to be thrown in jail for being a perv.
I learned long ago not to hide my 'difference' and found that I was far more easily acceptent into 'normal' society by doing so than remaining the strange geek who was always on the outside of society.

Haha before I read your post I was thinking about if it shouldn't be possible to invent a kind of especially heavy hat. :D

Oh. My. God. I do this too. The other day I bought a plastic wrapped curtain hanger- and while I was walking through the store I found myself scraping the plastic against my face- and I also made a huge body pillow contraption that squeezes me as I sleep. Its sooooo nice.

O.O that suspension stuff looks nice. I just saw it... I never knew they made things like that... I LOVE things like hammocks but hate the cords bcause they feel horrible. I bet that would be great. I wish I had that much money. I love the swinging feeling and try to recreate it in spinning chairs by speeding up and then stopping in different directions. But I ussually hurt my neck doing that

Um, excuse me? What does her problem have to do with furries???

I think I would try not to think about it too much. Maybe if you start trying not to do it too often, then it will stop happening.

She has the trademarks of a furry, though I am unsure whether she is familiar with the furry subculture or not. From "reading between the lines", she identifies deeply with cats, and aspects of the nature of her habits and issues suggest an unintentional feline theme or interpretation. Additionally her current avatar shows a girl wearing cat ears, hah.

On a Furry forum she will find people with the exact same habits and feelings described here.
