Well Im NT and have our daughters boyfriend an Aspie living with us, he moved in a couple of days before joining this site, does that count. But any Aspie down this way that wants to come in for a cup of tea is more than welcome. Just pm me and I'll give address and phone number.

As a matter of fact, if I were in England right now I would love
to take up that offer. I am blinded by the tree and forest theory
like most people in the autism spectrum. So no disrespect was
intended. I am glad to admit there are many good trees in this forest
of reaction(memory, ect....) and it is good to be reminded of this
autism weakness.
I hope I didn't offend you, or other friendly NT's. Where we are
blind in some areas others are uniquely blind in other areas.
Hmmmmm? What is your favorite tea? I like Lipton tea in the States.
and mint tea as a specialty. Thanks for reminding me that all
tree's arent' the same in a Neurotypical and Autism way.
Sincerely,
Ghosthunter
Ghosthunter I can't speak for all NTs on this site but I was not offended, I live with four Aspies.
Infact Adam (daughters boyfriend) does do tact and I sometimes feel his being patronising although I know he isn't. 25 years living with Aspies and I forget what normal NT behaviour is suposed to be.
Tea I like herbal Valerian tea. but we have all sorts here from Earl Grey, PG tips, and an assortment of herbal, as well as coffee. It would be great to meet other people with Aspergers or on the Autisim range. So Ghosthunter or anyone else just pm me and I'll put the kettle on.

I would love to have someone close enough to just talk to. I don't seem to be close enough to anyone to meet up with them. I think it would be wonderful to have another aspie just to talk to and discuss things with. It's hard to think things out on my own. I have a lot of problems understanding what people mean sometimes.
Maybe this summer I can connect and meet some of you.
Ghosthunter, I like your threads! It does give me something to think about.
How are you doing?
I really enjoy your videos, you have a lot of talent!!

have I got this right, you played music over Harry Potter films? I love Harry Potter, sad I know but true. It was very clever the way you did that. I'm quite impressed.

And it is nice to hear from you as well. I forget what makes
your area difficult to connect with? Wasn't it in the woods somewhere?
I really don't recall.
Thanks for your compliment and I am glad to hear from you.
I may disappear in my ghostly vapor from this site occassionally
but if that was long term, I would be posting responses right
now, so I usually have my disapating time for emotional reasons.
Thanks for posting here and hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Ghosthunter,
Although I was sadly not able to meet up with you when you were traveling (because of a summertime fiasco that had me in a bit of pain for quite a few weeks) I have had the pleasure of meeting one other fellow aspie from online forums.

And sorry about the bee stingings. Nature has a sense of humor
that is hard to understand, but every creature has a place and
reason in the big overall chain of things.
It is nice to see Pyraxis no longer in Fort Wayne, IN. She struggled
hard and a surprise call changed everything. Do you talk to Pryaxis
much? If not she is a really nice person.
Too bad we(Pyraxis and I) couldn't have dinner with you in July.
What became of Commander Civet(formum moderator)?

On the forums his name is The ASman and we had a wonderful time meeting up. The ASman was very nice and had many wonderful ideas on future projects he wished to start. The conversation was lively and very entertaining...we spent most of the day talking.
I never heard of him! Hmmmm?
monastic wrote:
The ASman is not seen here or on other forums anymore because he has evidently had some problems with the rules on the forums but I still like to let people know that he is a very good person and a true advocate for autism.
What confuses me is that my own conduct in past referencing as well
as a few other members I can think of should have got us kicked off
the site. So what can truly warrant such barring?????
Just curious!

Perhaps I will have a chance to meet others from this and other forums....I sure hope so. I do have other autistic friends that I care about and get together with every now and then, as much as I am able to and they are able to, anyway.
Hmmmmm? Anyone from this board?

I agree GH, we've got to do our best to understand each other and also to accept each other's individual ways of expression. It is a learning experience and will take time and also courage to continue on even when we don't always succeed.

True and thank you. How are you and is this site ready for another
Starship WrongPlanet in my writing style? If not tell me so! I am not
up to a disheartening experience like last.
