I do have some disappointments, but in all honesty the only reason I'm probably still alive right now is because I had goals to live for. Maybe I'm odd in that regard.

I have a few goals,

1. To live out my time on earth in relative comfort and in a happy state.
2. To get a tenured post at a university as an academic.
3. To be granted "peace in my time".

Diagnosed under the DSM5 rules with autism spectrum disorder, under DSM4 psychologist said would have been AS (299.80) but I suspect that I am somewhere between 299.80 and 299.00 (Autism) under DSM4.

I want to be in a career instead of just a job and live in my own place without sharing it with anybody else. And I want to insure that there are no children, elderly people, mentally disabled, or physically disabled people in my life. I want absolutely nothing to do with needy people!

WOW!! So disabled means needy? !
I know lots of people with disabilities who are not needy and I have known a lot of people who didn't consider themselves disabled who were very needy.

I guess needy people do not bother me. I feel no compulsion to help just because a person seems needy. And i have few expectations about receiving help. I figure i can ask you or you can ask me for help the the other guy can help or he can not help.

I'm curious : What about needy people annoys you so much?

Take care, Nora
