Do you daydream a lot ? Is this an autisitc 's trait ?
I daydream a lot when i am alone and what it s weird that i walk around the house when i am daydreaming and i see pictures in my head and sometimes I move my hands in the air. , i don't do it in public tho but I do it when I am alone.
It s kinda of an uncousious self-stimulation , i dunno what call it , It s not an exactly illusion because I don't see persons in my room but i see pictures in my head about people ,places , things , stories ...a world!

I've been doing this since I was little leptetitprince, it's so cool to escape to an imaginary world even if people see you and think you're bizzare or mad. I guess it's a self comforting thing.

For me my imaginations runs away with me so much and I get so involved that my emotions get affected. Sometimes if it's a great story i'll experience euphoria.Other times I'll experience rage depending on whats happening. Usually the fantasies and stories are based on people in my life. I am thinking with my imagination instead of acting them out in a tantrum of self stimulation maybe becoming a writer perhaps?

I used to "daydream" a lot more about imaginary worlds or scenarios or people. But these days I mostly get lost in intense thought about psychology or something. But I do this a lot.

And as for walking, I can't walk and think inwardly at the same time. I'm bound to trip or do something else stupid. I try to avoid this and concentrate on where I'm walking instead, hehe. When I think, I sit down and think. It's far safer.

Same here. I'm too clumsy to daydream while I'm walking so I try to do it when I'm sitting down in a room by myself.

I used to daydream in class (still do in some other places) and when I'd wake up out of it I'd bang my head on the desk and yell WHOA FREEZE and people would turn around and look at me "What is it?" and I'd reply "Nothing"

I day dream loads. I see it as natural.

I like to imagine things ahead of me as I walk, like an adventure For example... I might imagine situations before actually doing so.
I tend to day dream a lot more of dreams which bring hope when I am in a situation I don't like. Which I guess gives me more sense of control. When I am away from home and I don't want to be or if I am at school. I tend to dream of escapes from places Such as an adventure.

My Day dreams tend to vary widely too. Today I day dreamed about running away from everyone, everything an living an independant life with my lover.

I like day dreaming anyway.

yes and I am usually running around or toewalking when I do this. People think I am schizophrenic cause I am talking to myself. When in reality it's just palliac (sp?) and my wild imagination.

I daydream alot. Expecally when I'm laying in bed, it helps me sleep. If I'm bored I'll day dream. When I was in school, staying focused was very hard as my mind would wander off.If I'm listening to a sermon or lecture, if I'm not into it, I will day dream. If I get to into daydreaming I'll start talking to myself, so I'm very careful.

I can relate to daydreaming, as I seem to spend MOST of my life doing it. It's not even that much of it is constructive, I guess.

Yep I daydream, sometimes when I'm walking down the street or something, I was even daydreaming on the train to my aunt's today. I spend a lot of time doing it but then being stuck in your own world like this is cool I think.

I daydream way too much. Or I just daydream in the wrong places i.e. when someone is talking to me.

I posted the same topic in another forum (NT lebanese forum) and it seems that most NTs daydream in class but they don't daydream abt scenarios while walking or when being alone , in fact no one of them said i walk or i move hands while daydreaming.
(i am not talking about fantasies here since most of NTs in the other forum thought that i was talking about erotic sex ideas!)

so i am wondering is this only in autistics ?

ps : u call me just Prince (easier for u ;) )
