Got my permit around 16, but still haven't gotten a license at 23. I'd rather not, but I live in Florida and conditions are not as amenable to not driving as, say, NYC, so I'm being forced into it by conditions.

Mostly, I just don't want to pay the money for it. And if I DO get a vehicle, I'd much rather have something along the lines of a fighter jet in characteristics.

I got my full license when I passed my test on 30th september 2008 at the age of 24. I would have got it years before, but health issues put the aquisition of said license on hold.

I didn't want one, but my parents made me get one.
I use to have horrible nightmares about driving associated with my dyspraxia.

dexkaden, Yes I have my driver's license but, these days I no longer drive due in part to having a bad accident a year ago from blacking out of all things.Anyways, I prefer to use the bus and other means of transportation but, I can't lie and say, I don't miss driving myself to where I was needing to get to and all for, I enjoyed a great deal of the freedom the car gave me but, I'll choose this scenario for the time being and all..

I'm 28, and do not have a license. I'm not comfortable with operating a large vehicle, nor do I feel like I can safely do so, especially in medium or heavy traffic conditions.

Of course, I'm fine with my bike on the sidewalks and trails, though. :)
