1) My mind's eye is busted, so i don't see the word. I think the word, but don't audibly hear it.
2a) It took me a few seconds.
2b) No image. I knew the door swung outwards. I knew the doorknob was on the left side. So the door had to swing to the right.

Edit: My door swings inwards, not outward, but that doesn't matter. As long as the knob is on the left, the door swing to the right.

I envy those of you with clear image. Sometimes it happens out of the blue but not consistently. It would help if I ever started painting again.

1.) Both. I hear and picture each letter individually, in sequence. However, I don't picture the whole word at once.
2.) a.) had to think.
2.) b.) fuzzy.

For some odd reason I have a very clear picture of what my front door looks like from the outside but not from the inside. I immediately saw the door open to the left from the outside but I had to think longer than 5 seconds in order to deduce that it would open to my right when viewed from the inside.

1) Neither

Just so wildgrape doesn't seem like s/he's seeing things.
I deleted mine because I misunderstood question 2 and then read other peoples answers.

1.) I hear the word. Then I see it in my head.

2.) Swings inward to the left and opens to the right. If that makes sense.

2a) Immediate

2b) I had a clear image.

NLP is something I had quite an interest in. Helps with social stuff sometimes.
You are in marketing!?

So they DO use NLP to fool people and make them buy their products by attacking our weak subconscious. Doesn't work on me, though. Haha.

1) Visualize the word as if I wrote it down. But I'd prefer to write it down really....

2) Right. But there are different types of doors. :?
2a) I have to think about it.
2b) It was quite clear.

Yep, I'm visual.

1. see the word. So much so that I often don't get a pun, cos I'm seeing two different words in my head.
2. to the right (my right as I look at the door)
I knew within 2-3 seconds
I had a relatively clear picture (as good as 1970s TV biut then my hallway is a little dim)

Good luck with your survey!
Did I get it right?
