NT is New Testament in Henriksson's example (and OT is Old Testament, not Off Topic, haha).

As a student of theology (now master), I was used to NT being short for New Testament, and when I found WP, I wondered why they wrote so much about NT all the time, did they really mean New Testament??
Then I found out that it meant neurotypical, and when I had been around on WP all the summer and returned to the studies, I would wonder when I heard the others talk about NT, eg. NT theology, and thought: Is there really such a thing as neurotypical theology?!

...totally ignore the existence of the pecking order and talk to your father's doctor at the hospital as if you two were equally human beings.

...refuse to study any Ancient Hebrew, make embarrassing mistakes when trying to read it on the bus signs or plainly ignore the signs, and be oblivious to the accusing looks of the rest of the passangers. ("At the sight of white hair, leave your chair" is written on the buses in Ancient Hebrew, to indicate the seat for the old and handicapped).

It's Aspie cool to read such a sign and think that means people are going to give you their seat because you are blonde (but young and physically non-handicapped).

No, that would just mean you can't read and are colour blind.

To want to dye hair, but abstain from doing it because it's too much maintenance. I don't know if that's cool though

It's aspie-cool to come across some topic you know nothing about, have it pique your interest, and become a subject matter expert in said topic within a few days time.

It's aspie-cool to find beauty in things that others think of as mundane, such as the architecture of a building or the pattern of folds in a curtain.

It's been a while, but at one point in time I knew more about medieval Japanese history than US history.

SakuraKino, why not post your own thread in the Adolescents forum? I think it'd be a wonderful idea, you adolescent Aspies are soooo cool ! !! And you probably have your own Cool Adolescent Aspie sub-culture!

Maybe, if you get around to doing it, post a link here for us oldies to come read...
