I was diagnosed with high levels of social anxiety, high levels of ADHD, and AS.

I have a few friends with social anxiety and AS as well. In my personal experience it is not an uncommon combination.

also look through these articles for a deeper perspective:

http://www.grasp.org/new_art.htm

basically you are bad at reading faces, interpreting body language, guessing intentions, you find yourself stimming, you usually focus on a topic or two and find it difficult to do things that don't interest you. some aspies find that they have a lot of rituals and like things organized. there are exceptions to this general list of traits.

you can type your query into google or explore the website for more info.
explore the articles section at the top left of the page.

enjoy.

Yes, I have anxiety and asperger's. I've never been formally diagnosed but I'm 99.99% sure I have both. Sometimes you can just do a bit of research and find you fit into the symptoms like a jigsaw puzzle.

Stimming is when you move your body repetitively, for example I like to repeatedly tap the desk when I'm sitting down.

Yeah. I have Asperger's and althouth I'm undiagnosed with Social Anxiety, I'm 99% sure I have it. However, I'm pretty sure my AS may have helped caused my possible SA.

yeah, I'm pretty sure this goes for me as well. I can't stand to talk to people in any social context anymore unless I'm already quite familiar with them because I'm so scared that I'll 'screw something up'.

When I think about it, I didn't even make any friends growing up, I was so withdrawn. I met everyone I ever knew either because they insisted on my company (half of these people gave up shortly, believing I just wasn't interested I guess) or because a relative introduced us.
