i love driving, especially where there're tons of cars and traffic lights. i drive very aggressively. my speical interests are driving, watching tv, doing stuff on the computer. it's like i don't do anything productive at all. anyone else love to play tennis, ice hockey, basketball, soccer and badminton? it's like i don't like to do anything brainy. i heard aspies tend to do thing cerebral rather than kinetical. it's like i wish i could do a job with driving. i would drive 24/7. when my grandparents don't let me drive their car, i go crazy. i have to drive, it's my favourite thing to do. i also like dancing to pop, techno, trance, electronica.

I can definitely relate. I share the interests listed above! :) I enjoy driving, often without a destination in mind (this is only true if I am driving, if someone else is driving I want to know to where and how long it will take!).

I do enjoy some "cerbebral" stuff, I enjoy studying anatomy/medicine and languages, it just doesn't seem cerebral when I am learning about stuff I enjoy. :)

My husband does, he autocrosses and he's good at it. He's a very borderline AS/HFA type though. Didn't talk til he was 5, but now has mostly NT social skills. Go figure!

As for me I am extremely clumsy, it carries over to driving, so I suck at it.

Driving is one of my favorite things to do. Transportation is one of my special interests and I like to explore. I have gone on many drives for fun.

Mine keeps advancing. With all the things that lay hidden, could compromise handling in a new way people ignore...

There are two types of driving, fast and race. Race is best as fast is just the same thing you would do under normal circumstances, and therefore dangerous.

I would rate my experience at 20+ years.... But insurance won't let me because it doesn't reflect how long I've been driving.

Not so much driving itself as the act of going somewhere. I love exploring alternate routes to get to the same place, and alternate means (e.g., going the same way by bicycle and by car gives me goosebumps).

I also love maps.

I enjoy driving, but I wish I was better at it. I have to think about what direction North is-- I have a bad, bad sense of direction (I got lost in a parking lot just yesterday). Once I'm on the right track, though, I'm fine. I think about serious things in the car.

However, one of my favorite things in the world (I recently discovered) is driving in the rain at night with the music turned off. The sound light rain makes on the windsheild is so pretty, and I like to see lights get reflected off the black streets covered in water. Sometimes the traffic lights will streak down the road for blocks, and the world looks like a watercolor with too much water.

I love driving since I'm a bit of a control freak and love being in control of a car. Can't say I'm terribly good at driving though. I still wonder sometimes how I passed my test.

I like driving in the dark best- feels as if I'm in my owm world, and I can be sneaky and get away with speeding!

Not driving, riding. I love motorbikes and commute 140 miles every day to work and back in all weathers, winter and summer. My car sits on the drive alone and unloved.

I love to drive. I usually don't listen to music, I just drive. Riding my motorcycle is even better, since I'm snug in my helmet and gear.

Maps are good, too. Going on a drive (or a ride) is a good excuse to study a map. Even if I don't actually go, I've had a good time planning something.

I love driving. Often when I take the highway I go exploring on the small roads.

Seriously! How is driving "not productive"? Plenty of people do it for a living. But turn the "aggressive" into "assertive" or you might get into an accident. Important not to get into accidents if you drive for a living, you know!

its easier to get away with speeding during the day. at night the cops hide in places you wouldn't think to look. . . like on overpasses, behind bridges, in bushes, etc. And by the time you notice them, they've already clocked you.
