Sorry if I'm getting a bit carried away, but stickers were a great passion for me as a kid. I used to collect fancy letters:

And scientifically-themed stickers:

And I guess these need no explanation for their fascination:

I was obsessed with Cabbage Patch dolls as a kid! That was my all time favorite toy... oh and there was a time in my childhood when I used on ONLY talk about it. I must have been fun to be around at the time.

Unfortunately I never had that privilege  and I remember wanting to go. I actually still have them, stashed in my basement somewhere.. I kept them because I though they would be worth something but apparently not. I am thinking of getting them cleaned and just giving them to my daughter.

I loved Lego - really was crazy about lego. I also had every conceivable Star Wars toy - but didn't care a bit for Star Wars (it was the thing to get your kid when I was young). I never had a Spirograph, but I recently got a cheap dollar store version of this toy - at age 37! I love it to death - and I even came up with the mathematical formula for the x and y coordinates for any Spirograph design, depending on the radius of the stationary part and the movable parts (when they are circular) for whatever offset where you put the pencil - I think Spirograph is fun for an Aspie like me, especially one who likes mathematics.

I loved lego too. I remember I had a hospital set as a child. I also liked scalextrix as a kid.
I am told that I had a pram and would throw the doll out and replace it with snails which I wheeled around the garden instead.

Slinkies! I loved slinkies. When I was a kid (in the '60s), they were made of metal, and I played with mine for hours. It would inevitably get tangled, and I would try to untangle it, but it would never work right after that. I always got another one at some point. They were quite popular.

I also loved spirographs. The repetition and the symmetry really appealed to me. They still make them and I've vaguely considered getting another set, but I'm trying to keep my house (and attic) free of clutter.

Does anyone remember "Colorforms"? They were these figures made of some kind of plastic, and you could mix and match the head and the arms and the legs. They were like cartoon cutouts but would stick to a plastic board.

I also used to love matchbox cars. I collected them and would spend hours just looking at them and all the little miniature parts.

I was very partial to my Light Bright set, especially in the dark, when it would light up in whatever shape I wanted.

Gosh, I sound like such an Aspie. Cool.

I loved the metal Slinkies too! They made such an interesting sound when manipulated back and fourth between the hands! We need a word for that- I nominate Shinnnng-Shinnnng-ing. Gotta love onomatopoeia! Shinnnng-Shinnnng-ing would be a natural for a stim! Did you ever put one end against your ear, then stretch and tap the other end? It sounded something like a Star Wars blaster gun.

I played with my Barbie dolls a lot growing up. I also colored and played outside on my swing set, rode my bike, roller skated, played with chalk, played with my brothers toys and played in the sandbox. I did some pretend play like cooking ironing clothes, pushing my doll in a stroller or buggy, I played with Legos, Knex, trains, blocks, and dump trucks. Yep I was like a typical child. I also played video games and watched some TV. I watched a lot less TV as a kid. Now I think I am starting to lose interest in TV because I am watching less of it now. When it's on, it's either my shows I usually watch or A League of Their Own.

I played with Barbies all the time my mom says. I didn't have much doll stuff. Lot of my dolls were Barbies and the furniture and accessories.

I still have toys and occasionally play with them. Lot of mine are in Montana, espeically my Happy Meal toys but I seemed to have replaced them when I moved here because my husband brought a bunch over two years ago. Some of them were duplicates of what I have. I still have lot of my toys and the only toys I don't really have anymore were toddler toys.

But I seem to lost half my stuff like books and puzzles when we moved to Montana because I haven't seen them since and some our our old puzzles and games got moldy out in the grainary so my parents had to toss them out. I even lost some of my Littest Pet Shop items. I only found the Pet Shop and the stuff in it and it was covered in dirt but the stuff inside was still good. Now the animals today look slu*ty. I liked the old school kind.
