Why don't NTs ever give concrete expectations?

That is not always the case. I have been told by my NT relatives, on several occasions what they wished of me.

Some people are explicit.

Because they know that you will most likely screw it up otherwise - or at least expect you to. Random NT's don't do it normally though.
