Something I was woindering about-for much of my childhood (and still in adulthood) i would find it easier or more pleasent to walk on my tiptoes, or digitigrade as the scientific term goes.

Does anyone else do it> Would it count as stimming? Or is it something else entirely? Tell me here?

I walked on my tiptoes until I was probably about 14 when I got basically ridiculed by adults and made fun of by my peers for doing it - So I had to train myself to stop doing it. I still walk really funny apparently, I'm told I walk like a little kid and have a really odd childlike posture.

I used to always think that I walked on my tiptoes because I wanted to be a ballet dancer but maybe that isn't why!

Donkey-I have the OTHER problem with my feet-very *high* arches and insteps, plus extremely narrow feet! I have a problem finding shoes and trainers that a) have room not to compress the instep top of my foot and b) narrow enough that my feet slop about in them.

On the subect of loose joinjts, though, my hips and thumbs are very flexible, meaning I can do things that make people4 around me wince, say "oh gross" or "how do you do that?" or all three.....

Jennyji-I still walk digitigrade at times because I like it-even in public. It feels more natural to me, and prolonged walking flat hurts the back of my foot sole..
