Are your special interests all that you do or are there other things you do and if so what kinds of things?

I suppose it takes up 80% of my mental and physical attention throughout the day. The rest of the day is doing chores (work included), looking after myself, and talking to people. I think about it almost 100% of the day, though.

I'm on the Internet almost all day long. I listen to my favourite group for 70% of the time that I'm on the Internet I listen to other music the other 30% of the time that I'm online.

The only things I really do these days are either research on special interests like Rolls-Royces and Maybachs, or things that will get me rich (doing things related to my business).

Argh, I am on the compute 90% of the time and I watch A league of Their Own and TV. I also listen to the soundtrack on youtube.

But I managed to play Shrek Racing on my Gamecube and I still manage to get some things done like the dishes. I still have the tree to take down and the Christmas stuff I need to put away. I have never been this bad.

Hmmm, well, I work, but other than that...my special interests consume most of my time. It's time well spent, btw.

I talk about my special interest all day, but I haven't watched an episode of Lazytown for weeks.

I spend the vast majority of my time on the internet, looking at various websites like Cracked or Encyclopedia Dramatica. The rest of my time is either spent watching anime or going outside to run to my music. Sometimes I do other things like playing The Sims 2 or reading.

I spend most of my time writing software either for a living or just for the hell of it... I've always got a pet project on the go. I spend a lot of time reading novels in French too - to boost my French. Other than that I read books about Zen or ponder the nature of the universe. My brain cells rarely get a rest. Sometimes I try to watch a film on TV but get restless and need something to occupy me more fully again. Come to think about it I'm hyper all the time.

I spend my free time playing/learning what I"m interested in.

The rest of the time I'm a mother. I keep two children happy, fed, clothed, loved, educated, entertained, engaged, and physically active.
That means shopping, budgeting, enrolling, attending, reminding, washing, cooking, cleaning, planning, arranging, anticipating, teaching, comforting, cuddling, explaining, deciding, enforcing, allowing, researching, learning, coordinating, facilitating, advocating...etc

I also pay bills, manage our lives, keep in touch with family and friends, put food on the table, read, watch movies, clean house, go for walks, And my absolute favourite; take naps!

Well, engaging in special interests is all I do and think about whenever I have free time, but I've always been able to get the important things done, like school. My special interests are very, very intense, but luckily, I am able to turn off the intensity when I need to. But if given the choice, I would indulge in my special interests all day, every day and do nothing else.

It takes up at least 90% of my free time when that includes internet as part of it as well.

I am busy looking for work, and that is taking up a lot of my time. After working for a year or two, I may do graduate studies part time.

That keeps me from pursuing my special interests too much.

Pretty much and once I finish school and residency, I will be around them and interacting with them 100% of the time.
