What I'm getting at I know that some people here don't do well in certain tempatures. Or they like hot warm better than cold freezing or the reverse. What do you like better touching something that is cold or something that is hot but enough touch with out burning your hands. I think this is about that question on the AQ test or one of them that ask are you hyper this on hot or the other way around. I'm more to touch something that is hot but that isn't about to put blisters on my hands. Like now I have my laptop on my bare knee and its mildly hot but I'm not taking it off my knee because I like the way it feels. Same as when I take a shower or bath I take them in Hot Tub tempature. I also like to grib hold of something hot to touch and feel my hands getting hot. On the other hand I hate winter. Yes I hate it. I've lived in so many states that get cold winters and snow I hate them. I hate touching silver ware or ice trays that are cold. I fear the cold. That's why I like starting fires because of the heat it gives off. What about you?

I can get too hot much more easily than too cold.

Ice. I don't like boiling hot, much prefer to be freezing cold. (live in England) I only take my coat out on a wed. evening with me for preparedness. I like icecubes. I just put them in my mouth and suck them. That can't be done with boiling hot foods.

Ice, by far. I'm always one extreme or the other; rarely just right, but I've always said I prefer to be cold. Firstly, it feels more natural, and secondly when you're cold you can warm up - but when you're warm you can only cool down a certain amount.

I have to honestly say I can't choose either, I cannot handle extreme cold or hot. I used to live in a really cold climate and now I live in a really hot climate and when I'm in either extreme I am completely unable to focus on anything else until I'm comfortable again. I mean I get REALLY bad and am miserable to be around. it's really funny, I'm so particular about temperature, if it isn't about 70 degrees (Fahrenheit) my body knows it. Is anyone else like that?

Probably both. I don't really care much about the cold because I don't really mind it that much, and the heat doesn't bother me because I can take reeeaaaallly hot showers and I use to sit in front of the grate in my house in winter when the hot air was circulating. Plus I've had blisters from walking on hot asphalt before and it only hurts after your feet cool down a bit -and even then you just need to pop the blister and drain it off and it feels better. So both -so long as nether is hot/cold enough to actually harm you because then I wouldn't touch it at all because that would be dumb of me. :?

I'd say hot.
We have warm weather right now and I get used to the heat and don't mind it in the end. When it's cold in winter I can get so cold I freeze into my bones and it takes hours to go away.

I take really hot showers, I drink my tea hot, sometimes I burn my tongue, I prefer my foot really hot too, I also burn my tongue on hot rice hmmm I like it! I sleep with a hot water bottle at night.

I love fireplaces feel the heat and watch them.

I also like cold water, ice cream and ice cubes.
I don't like to put things into my mouth that are lukewarm.

To make a long story short, I'd rather put my hands on something warm than cold.

Hot metal. I cope withy heatwaves in Summer far better than I cope with normal cold. Whenever other people are comfortable heatwise, I'm cold so I get comments like "You can't be cold!" off my mother.

Oh yes, I can be and often am!

Ice, while I do feel heat less than cold, I prefer the cold. Ice is also less intense to touch than burning metal, and I live in Massachusetts, so I am used to the cold :)

That happens to me a lot too. Except I still prefer being cold than warm - because being cold's always been natural for me.

I hate the current heatwave we have here - I'm possibly less hot than most others but I cope with it far worse. Grr heatwave!
