i am home alone with my cats. Haven't seen anyone since Thursday! i don't particularly want to meet up with anyone so i tell myself it's ok to spend Easter on my own - no difference from most other days.

I try to avoid people most of the time, not just on Holidays. I am not a Christian, so Easter does not have the same meaning for me. It is more about the candy for my daughter and celebrating springtime for me. So I have done some gardening and I will paint cute plaster animals with my daughter later after I finish work.

I have a large extended family, and we always get together at my grandmother's house. I went late, and then left earlier than most, but I actually had an OK time. Mostly people are focused on the young kids, so I am not the center of any attention, which is a good thing.

I'm going to have to hide my laptop from my niece, and be one with the family. It's going to be torture. I'll pretend that my family are The Kinks, and my sister's husband, Kenny is the manager. I won't be calling people by the names of the band members, though.

I wanted to stay by myself but I saw my neighbors BBQ and decided to join them, after they invited me of course. Was alright, their son who is my age just got back from Seattle and told me they are not very friendly up there, I still wanna go though.

I'm not avoiding people but I'm not doing anything for easter either. Can't be arsed.
Chocolate eggs are the only things I look forward to, and I'm getting £50. I don't do the whole jesus thing.

I'm on my netbook, avoiding people, right now. The rest of my family is in the living room, making a lot of noise. Nothing I did, to ease things along the way, worked so, I've made my escape.

Came on here, ate, exercised, took the dog for a walk and had a drive for fun (I don't have a car in London, need practice). Came back and food was ready. Nice enough!
Well, I was sitting at the table listening to the relatively inane conversation between my relatives. All very polite, but when I was getting more food, my Mum was wondering somewhat whether I'd come back to the table and I said, "yeah, but since I'm not included in the conversation, seriously don't expect me to hang around, as it has nothing to offer me." I can't believe that she forgets how it is, and that it's that clear-cut, but then I'm not diagnosed yet and she was distracted. Normally I would have kept such things to myself and just BEEN bored, but now I feel like explaining because there's a reason for it!
So I went and watched a film or two and that was it. Then my cousin said "leave the computer logged-on" after telling me he was too tired to finish the movie. I said "Don't BS me", connected his ipod to the internet and left him to do what he wanted to do, which as a 15 year old boy we can probably guess.
So, a wonderfully sociable weekend so far! :?

Does anyone anymore? My mother, who is a pretty devout christian didn't even seem to mention anything.
Oh damn, I should have rented out The Life of Brian. That would have made a good Easter movie.

As always happens in yule-tides and holidays these are rather atrocious days. I don't live on relationships except with: Mika (my dog), shopkeepers, the web (are virtual relationships real? I think they are a little bit, and I check frenetically the laptop to see if some message has arrived). Shops are closed, incomimg mail and messages are scarce. People eat, travel, see relatives, go to masses and don't take with them the PCs, excepts fanatics and addicts. The only solution would be to attract people with humorous comments. I know people who do
this, but the really successful in this class are writers and cabaret people. Anyhow I generally don't want to see people, particularly when calling on me is a kind of alimony or charity, due to some unhappy, needy, unfortunate person (?). Communication never happens: an aspie, is an aspie, is an aspie to paraphrase some one.

I just stayed in with my family, eating chocolate and watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail (of all films!). Easter's never been much of a social holiday for me or anyone else I know.

For Easter we went to my aunt and uncles house for a family get together with my dads family. There were at least 8 kids running around and screaming and crying. I didnt know some of the people there so I hid in the back room and talked to my aunts sharon and laura. I felt completely drained afterwards and had to head back to my parents and get ready to have my moms family come over. By that time I felt completely drained and spent the whole time in my room on my laptop listening to music trying to ignore the noise from everyone upstairs.
