What was wrong with the way you stacked the water? Really, is there any way you can live by yourself? Your family sounds very difficult.all your posts have a pattern of people in your family being intolerant and rather mean. I know it cant be easy to live with Aspies, but the woman birthed you! No one asks to be born, especially with impairments.

When I am at my parents house I get called lazy all the time. I always forget to do chores because I am busy with something else. They complain that I am on the computer too much. There are days that the only time my parents will see me is IF I come out of my room to take a bathroom break or get something to eat. I start doing something on the computer (games, message boards, downloads etc) I get so concentrated that I can't focus on anything else. Sometimes my dad will tell me to do something and I will say ok but ten minutes later when its not done and he asks me why sometimes I have to ask him what he said. I think that some of my laziness is due to depression. When I'm at my girlfriends house I am completely the opposite. I do still get extremely focused on things but I can stop and take the time to do other things. I actually clean the whole house, do laundry, vacuum, dust etc. These are all things that normally I seriously hate to do but at her house I really enjoy helping around the house.

I'm not lazy I'm just freaking tired. And it's got nothing to do with AS.

Daily. It's not intended to be insulting but people get annoyed with the way I leave stuff lying around...

As a kid, I was called "lazy" all the time. I later realized it was more an intolerance for spending time at something I wasn't interested in. Well, actually ... that's the same thing, isn't it? ... hahaha

As an adult, I'm no less lazy than before, but I can choose what things I spend time at, and of course I only choose things I'm interested in. Back in my working days, I routinely put in 60-70 hour weeks, so nobody considered me "lazy". But they didn't see me when involved in things I wan't interested in.

I normally get called lazy when I am too busy to do what people want me to do.
Kind of ironic....

All the time, simply because cleaning isn't one of my obsessions. For me, as long as the bed is made is enough. I don't usually vacuum, wipe down the mirrors, walls, furniture or anything.

Lol, untidy or not, at least your house is not on wheels or tornado bait. :)

Yeah, I've been called lazy and objectively I am by any reasonable definition of the word. But when I'm sitting around with a blank look on my face I'm thinking about things, which I suppose qualifies as an activity even if deemed useless by others. When I was in school (dark ages, 1970s) my teachers often called me "careless" which really grated me at the time, but looking back now I think they were accurate in the sense that I didn't give a jack about much of the stuff I was supposed to be learning.
