I definitely have the lip thing going on. Also the ears, they don't really flop(I didn't really get what that meant tho), but they are squarish and low. My chin is pretty small too.

I have the unusal flexiblity also. I can bend my arms around my back and behind my neck. When I do it with my left arm, it looks broken. :P I used to be in Aikido(martial art) and when people would twist my arm to immobilize me, they would usually have to work harder at it, because it bends so far.

My face is pretty expressionless. I have so many photos where I look like I'm constipated or something. I either look really intense or "stoned"... I'm getting better however. I keep practicing making faces in a mirror. I can make a few "canned" expressions that look fairly ok to a camera.

Here's a description of my funky body.

I have thick legs and thighs, and a very narrow waist.

My back curves forwards - so that my stomach sticks out, even if I'm thin.

I have a gigantic head :-)

My wrists are very thin

I have big hands and feet

my head is big too >.< I have a hard time getting a baseball hat to fit, I have to put it on the biggest snap
my wrists are so thin, people used to ask me if "I would break" in Aikido class... everyone was affraid to apply pressure when grappling :P I forgot about that...

My granddad always jokes that he can easily grip my whole wrist. He's always worked hard manual jobs, so has arms as thick as my lower legs.

Everyone tells me how I look and sound just like my dad. But I know this to be untrue. I have a annoying accent and high pitched voice and look like no one else from my family. Sometimes I think I'm the milkman's son, and the family are just trying to reassure me or some thing, hehe :)

This is a really interesting thread. I've noticed that all of the children that I've met who are on the Asperger's side of the spectrum are beautiful (at least as children). They have a certain even-ness and balance in their facial features that is very attractive, and often have beautiful eyes. Unfortunately, I think most of them end up with such self-esteem issues, they don't realize how beautiful they are.

I can think of a few reasons why they might end up with self-eestem issues.

I have squid-like (big eyes) that should be green but in reality are influenced by my moods. My hair is a very dark brown so as to be almost black and is black when wet. I once measured my hair with a ruler, it's that straight. People ask me how I get it so straight, I'm not sure if they believe me when I say it's natrual. (it is, though.)

I understand that perfectly. No matter how 'normal' I try to dress or look, there seems to be something abnormal that makes people stare and laugh at me. I can't figure it out sometimes. :(

My current favourite stock qoute-quip is 'Neuroatypical and proud of it. Adapting to a sick society is no acheviment.' Heavy emphasis on the 'no' and 'sick'. As I say 'sick society', I usually mantain eye contact for those two words then I shake my head and make a run for it while they're trying to figure out what I just said.

I have a large head and issues with facial expression. I don't smile and people tell me I look angry. I feel like people avoid eye contact with me because of it. At least my whole adult life I have had low energy levels, high cholesterol, like to sleep a lot, snore, and I'm about 15lbs overweight.

I have a large head, I'm afraid to swing my arms when I walk (in high school this guy made fun of me for "walking like a monkey"), and I smile too much, because it's the only facial expression I'm comfortable with so far. I have a bit of a blank stare, and I won't look at people. People ALWAYS think I'm on drugs when they meet me, especially when I'm not. :)

I always got the stares and stuff, I know that..
I know I have a really blank expression, because I used to make it look like a concentrating expression, so all the teachers would be pleased, and I'd just sit there daydreaming about UFO's and robots and stuff.
I used to dress kinda normally, but even when I just wore black trousers and a yellow top, got the "popular kids" going oooh, look at the bumble bee! (Wow, dead funny...)
Nowadays, I use being a Musician as an excuse to dress however I want, and no one really cares. I use the musician thing as an excuse for a lot of things....
I'm not sure if I have a big head, I don't really wear hats... We do have one somewhere....
(Starts rummaging round to find a hat)

I don't think it really affects my looks at all.
I get more attention from women than my brothers do.
Than again i have a better figure than them and am better dressed.
Seems that makes up for not having nearly as good social skills as them.

It's kinda hard to tel if it's from looks.
Noone really thinks i'm theyr brother... ever.
I'm like average height 6 foot and average build.
While theyr like giants compared to me lol.

All in all i still have no sign of AS being the cause or anything like that.

I look younger than I am. As late as last year I had to show my driving license when I bought whisky. The minimum age for buying liquor in this country is 20 and I was 34 at the time...

i rread somewhere, I think it was either Time magazine or Scientific american, that people with autism in their bloodline have smaller hands, and their pointer and ring finger are the same length.I took it as true, becaause I have that; my hands are the size of an 8 year old's, and I get teased for it too. My mother has it too, but she's not autistic, but her father was, so that's where I get it from.

I once got carded to be given free ice cream.
You see, you had to be 18 to get free samples in the grocery store without parental permission (yeah...) and I was all of 31 or 32, I think.
