Hi! Three nights ago I had this nightmare, and I wonder if someone here could help me with the possible meaning of this dream:

I was in the city I currently live in, in what was my house in the dream. It had three stories and a basement. I lived with people who were my family in the dream, but I don't know in real life. The whole dream was a series of sequences of me either leaving my house to go to college, or arriving home from college just to eat with my family, watch tv while checking the tv clock, going to the bathroom and leaving again. In one of those sequences, I saw a man in the window of the stairs that went to the basement. The guy was pointing at me with a gun, he was going to kill me. I ran to the third story and then other two men saw me. They were going to kill me, but they saw how fast I had gotten there (I had taken the garage control to hide and go up), and got scared, so they left crossing the bridge from the house to the building in front of it. I told people from my family that someone was trying to kill me, and one of them told me that it was the same story of another autistic girl, and then I appeared at a hospital, looking at a girl who was autistic, but looked otherwise healthy. This part of the dream overlapped with the other part. Then there were more sequences of me going and coming, but now I was terrified, I only walked down the roof, and quickly. I always saw the three men. At one point, I saw a forth man who said they had to kill me because I made their ratings go down. Then I saw the girl's story as if it were on TV, and they said "in 1990, she died as a brave girl with her disease", which I didn't know what it was. I was in my house again, and I saw the three men again, and I started to run, until they found me in the basement. I entered in the men's bathroom, then I went to the women's bathroom, throwing random people at them and asking for help, I entered to the women's bathroom, they entered too... and the dream ended.

In real life, I don't know either the scenarios, the people or the circumstances in my dream. I must confess I was sick last night (nothing important), when the dream happened, so it may be a part of why the dream happened.

Thanks!

I'm no physic or dream interperuter but I'll take a shot.
You were in danger when you were going to and from college because they do not want autistic people to be able too. As in you "made their ratings go down" you made them less credible in protraying autism as a horrible disease.

That's just my interperation but I'm better at interperuting my own dreams.

I use this method on my dreams:

If you take objects or persons from your dream and "ask" them what they mean, you might find the answer.

You must be one cool fellow. You know, I was nearly named after them...

It sounds like you're scared about how people perceive your autism, judging from the guys trying to kill you all the time. The part where the girl's obituary is on tv could represent the view that when people die sick they are martyrs - like, "aw, poor thing." But when you live with a 'disease,' others can't 'profit' off it, emotionally or otherwise. It's as though living with your condition was threatening to them, or their ideals. You sought help from others, but none came... maybe they subscribe to the killer's philosophy, or maybe they just didn't understand or care. The 'travel' sequences probably just represent the passage of time; life goes on with autism or not.

When I was trying out the lifestyle of a 70s Punk Rocker, I had this dream, that I was looking through a photo album of pictures, that were taken, during the Summer of 2008, at a family reunion. by my family and relatives. I wasn't in any of the pictures. There were many pictures taken of everybody else. I've asked my parents, why I wasn't in any of the pictures. My mum was standing in front of me, with a bottle of shampoo.

The message that I got, was that my mum was saying, with her body language, that no daughter of hers, is a Punk Rocker.

Another dream that I had, was that it was February, and I was looking at pictures that were taking, just this past Christmas, in the dream, of course. Every second picture was of me. I was wearing vintage clothes, and I looked like one of The Kinks, which I do in real life. I was wondering why every second picture was of me, and than I looked up, and my mum had her camera in her hands, ready to take a picture of me.

I'm not making this up. I know the message of this dream, as well. "It's so nice to have the real Shelby, back."

sounds like you're scared of the reaction if you are discovered to be autistic.
