This is something that has nerved me from the beginning of life. If I am sitting somewhere, I absloutely cannot stand it if someone bumps up against the back of my chair. For example in a restaruant, if my chair backs up to a high traffic area, I will need to move just because all the waiters and patrons walking through will bump my chair. Before we renovated my shop, my desk chair was right in front the door, and whenever someone carrying an object would enter the shop, they would bump the back of my desk chair. Thankfully, that's all done with now that I have my desk in the corner of the new shop, with my chair backing up to the wall! Does this bother anyone else? It just sends an unexpected jold down my body that totaly suprises me no matter how much I am expecting it. Not to mention the fact I think it is totally rude not to pay attention to this while walking

Yes! I hate this. I even hate it if I'm eating at home and someone is walking round the kitchen, in case they bump my chair. It really puts me off my food and makes me feel anxious  .

When I go out places I generally now have to use a power chair (kind of a cross between a wheel chair and those scooters). I try and place myself as out of the way as possible since it is kind of large and I too can't stand sudden jolts. Yet no matter where I sit, I managed to get nailed. If not by a member of the waitstaff (which is particularly aggravating since they never apologize) then by kids running amok.

I also find people like to "dash" in front of me, not realizing that I can't stop on a dime and if I could I'd be thrown from my seat.

People bumping my seat aggrivates me as well but it doesnt happen often because I have a strange habit of sitting in places where no one will walk or sit behind me. I have to be facing the center of the room where I can see everyone or I get too nervous to eat. Weird, huh?

I have a problem with this too. Actually in general I have a problem with people not watching where they're going, and then act put off when they eventually bump into someone, when it was their own actions that caused it. I tend to hold my hands out in front of me, and move them to the side between people walking towards me, because chances are most likely they're too busy being self-absorbed to realize it's going on, and to watch where they're walking.

Ugh I can't stand it. It also bugs me if someone (eg one of my siblings) leans on my chair for no reason. I think it's more a matter of being touched or almost touched without that person having permission to do so.

I hate that. It jolts me.
I especially hate it when the person had a space that was 10miles wide to walk through, but for some reason they had to take the route that made them go really close to my seat.
