I know they are a link to the subconscious etc. and others might just view them as no big deal but it's amazing how much they match my waking life views!! ! Dreaming I was in a hospital symbolizes need to heal myself physically/mentally (yall know how much the College issue upsets me) Also I saw 2 OF MYSELF One resting her head on a childhood friends shoulder the other sleeping ready for surgery!! ! So part of me (waking life) is sleeping waiting to get out so to speak! :-( Ever since the suspsension the teacher has popped into my dreams and ever since Sept. (that friend going off to College) SHE has popped into my dreams. (We haven't seen each other in years yet alone hung out last thing we did together was see Spider-man in theaters that was a LONG TIME AGO!) LOL! :-)

I used to be very interested in dreams, especially when I was getting lucid dreams.

I'm not as obsessional about them as I once was, but I still find the subject fascinating. I'm not convinced they have any meaning though. Sometimes it seems like the images are trying to tell me something, but they're probably not.

I used to be so interested in dreams, that I kept a dream journal. I think that I still have it. I want to get back into it, again. I want to type out what dreams I have and print them out, before I go on to WP, each day, in the mornings.

If a dream dies can it become a ghost?

Aside from that musing I do love to look into dreams and have dreams myself.

I'm interested in dreams. I like my dreams; most of them are recurring, so it's like my subconscious has built a whole 'nother alternate universe or something.

No, then Dream gets replaced by another aspect :D http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Hall

A couple of nights ago I had a dream in which the pope died of a heart attack - so realistic this dream was that when I woke up, I checked if he was still alive. Once I had a dream in which Roman Giertych http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_Giertych died and it was a very realistic dream but when I checked it on the net it turned out it was Barbara Blida who died indeed http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbara_Blida

My dreams are weird they are always over cast, I am always walking to some place or climbing stairs in large buildings that look like parking garages that you can see the street below. I also am always in a huge shopping mall lost or looking for something I know is there but can not find it.

I have had work related dreams where my hand was stuck on a table and everyone was going home and yelling at me to stop foolong around and go home.

Had another dream where I was standing in mud up to just below my nose the mud took up an area the size of lake Erie. I was walking foward but I could feel that I was about to step off a ledge into deeper mud. The dream was so realistic I could feel the pressure of the mud on my chest.

Anyone care to guess the meaning of these?

Check out the podcasts from www.upaya.org

They've got a series of talks by B. Alan Wallace on Lucid Dreaming and Dream Yoga.
Very cool!

I had a weird dream last night, so I thought I'd bore you all with it... (I had 2, but this is just one of them)

Anyway it started as me and my friend "L" going to the shopping centre together and in one shop (I think it was like a gadget shop type thing) and there was this giant cardboard cutout of Chris Chan and a member from this site standing together and it was advertising some kind of TV program or summat. And there were other pictures of Chris Chan dotting about the shop, so me and L were laughing our heads off and he was doing that silent laugh you do when you can't stop. And people had vandalised the pictures and cutout by writing aload of Chris Chan quotes from youtube or trolly slogans to do with internet stuff. So I got a marker pen and wrote something on to do with Chris Chan's youtube videos. Then I went out the shop and saw my other friend "A" and me and L were telling him about the ads and when I went to show him they had changed into something completely different. I was dissapointed because I wanted to show A the funny Chris Chan cutout.

Then A asked us if we wanted to go his house so we said yeah. It was dark and we were walking through all these streets, and then A was touching me in a flirty way (touching my arm, you know that kind of thing). Then he held my hand and we were running going "woop woop!" and other similar sounds while L was walking behind us. We ran and ran and a group of girls looked at us funny but I "WOOP!"ed louder. Then we got to a house which even though belonged to A it looks nothing like his real house. So we hung around in his room a bit. Then we went downstairs and watched telly and A put his arms aroud me and cuddled me and L was like "ay up!" and I really liked it. But then A goes "why don't you hug me for a change I'm always the one that's touching you." So I goes to put my arms around him but I just couldn't get in a comfortable position or my arms would flop to the side and I couldn't control them. Then A got up and walked off, he later came back and handed me this thin cardboard blue box thing with writing on both sides. It was a note from him, I remember it was something to do with not knowing if we are a couple now or not and telling me to say yes/no. And something about me being too distant with him. The rest was all in riddles that I couldn't understand. So I went to the kitchen where he and L were and I asked A what it meant, but he just gave me a bag of cereal bars and said "I got these for you" and I said thanks. But then everytime I brought up the notes A would change the subject and talk about cereal bars, so I got impatient and shouted at him "WHAT DOES THIS MEAN??" then we were arguing so I walked off, sat back on the sofa and was really worried about out friendship being ruined and the potential relationship that could of started.

I have some interest in it but it's something I've never gotten round to learning much about (like so many things) I do sometimes look up my dreams meanings and they are generally very accurate.

Yes, espicaly when I was a child. I had the same dream every night for years. Today there are certian places in my dreams that never change and remain the same. I think dreams are sometimes meant to mean something.

I've always had some minor interests in dreams. One time I even remember having control over a dream I had once. Was interesting.
