I couldn't vote cause my studio is always neat. It's the only way not to waste my life looking for stuff. Been there.

Now I'm organized, minimilist, and into having a cosy home. Trying to keep on top of things so I can live in the present.

I'm awful at cleaning, though. Just don't know how to do it well.

Actually having an organized life has probably crossed over to special interest territory. More than probably.

Sometimes Untidy. My mum, step dad and I live in a tiny two bedroom unit and we have several pets. It's bound to get messy from time to time. My bedroom is very hard to keep tidy because I have so many things and not enough space to store it all.

It drives me insane to not work in the most streamlined area possible, so I should be clean; but I'm kind of a packrat with trinkets that I just seem to acquire, and I can procrastinate with cleanup jobs because I seem to have better things to do (like acquiring trinkets). So, my rooms in my house are currently in a state of disarray, because I've realized that my last cleanup was nowehere near good enough and everything needs to be totally fixed. *guilt*

I need everything in perfect order all the time. If anything is left lying around, I can't focus on anything else. All of my clothes are folded or hung in order, and yes I fold my underwear. I may have dust on furniture and maybe a coffee ring on a magazine, but I need it all straight and orderly. When I put clean clothes away, I rotate the newly washed one to the back, so that things like socks and underwear will all wind up being worn and washed the same number of times. Same with dishes. When I put them away, I pull out the stack that didn't get used this time, and put the newly washed ones behind so that they will get rotated evenly.

i can not decide. i can not see any difference between "messy" and "untidy".

My room is pretty messy... but I don't like spotless rooms, because within the day it'll become messy again. I'm just good that way :o

Near biohazard level... neither of us are big cleaners.

I don't mind it, but it can be embarrassing if people unexpectedly turn up.

The guys who install the internet came by unexpectedly one day, and my bf let them in (thankfully I wasn't around). They were actually stunned, and the best they could say was "well, at least it's clean mess" (i.e. just newspapers/junk/clothes)..

I like at least a day's warning for guests. I pretend it's due to AS, but in reality, it takes that long to tidy...

Everything in my room is in perfect order, everything in a specific spot. That spot just happens to be on the floor. I never have any garbage lying around, just clothes and things like that. I know where everything is and I know where to step so I won't break anything.

In short: I call it organised chaos, but most people would disagree about the 'organised' part.

I can't vote either; I am obsessed with keeping my apartment (and car) clean. My room and bathroom are always clean, as is the kitchen and living room. My (26-year old, mind you) sister's room and bathroom are appalling, however...she kept her room cleaner when she was a little girl than she does now.
