I hate the sound of sniffling because whenever I hear it, a wave of irritation shoots through me. I just hate it so much! I also hate whispering or incoherent talking. There's just something about it that drives me ballistic. I also generally hate loud noises. For Canada Day, we went to a parade were there was about 15 firetrucks at the beginning, honking and playing their sirens. Not only is it headache-inducing, it really scares me too!

I work at a shipping company and we get shipments of ice cream, which is packaged up in styrofoam containers. When many of them come down the conveyer system at once and they rub against each other, they make this high pitched irritating sound. It reminds me of the sound someone would make if they puckered they're lips and made a kissing noise, except worse. I bet most of this irritating noise comes from the 10kHz frequency range.

I hate the noise of dog poo because it's smelly.

I hate the sound of that angry bee sound in that stadium, when I'm watching the World Cup, on TV, because it reminds me of the time, that I got stung by a bee, at the age of 6.

Phones ringing, the sound of metal against teeth like when people bite utensils, and the sound/feeling of my nails and skin against the magnesium alloy cages inside Thinkpads. I dislike other noises, but I hate those.

I hate the noise of crying babies/children, because it makes me feel as though my ears are bleeding.

I hate the sound of a stereo turned up very loud suddenly...
I can feel it in my bones and my skin and it hurts. It scares me half to death too; makes me feel like there's danger all around me, at least, that's the best I can describe it...

My boyfriend doesn't have sound problems, so he likes to mess with me sometimes by turning up the music in the car super loud. Gahh...

My mother's voice. Not just when she's yelling, but when she's just talking. ("I love you, honey." "AAAAH!! !! SHUT UP!") I have no clue why.

Some days, like today, I hate the noise of anything because my nervous system's totally fried.

But I love high-pitched squeals like in the song Rakuen wo Sagashite.

Crying. I have to go in the other room when my siblings cry, it makes me want to scream and yell over it.

I've adapted a lot but popping balloons, distress noises (babies crying, cats wailing, people yelling), chalkboards all get to me. I had to prepare myself to be ready for the 4th and the fireworks. Why? cuz all these sounds just make my skin crawl and my jaws get all tingly.

Styrofoam squeaking together

Things that have pitch that don't consistently hold pitch (such as a bad bagpipe player)

The noise of long juicy farts I find to be off putting. Especially in elevators or other enclosed spaces.

The sound of people kissing creeps me out. My parents used to give each other these quick little pecking kisses over and over.. Like 10-20 times in a row. The sound of their saliva/lips breaking suction was like finger nails on a chalk board to me.
