Hello there,

Is there anyone here from Montreal? If so, I'd really like to know how I can be tested for Asperger Syndrome here. I searched over the internet, but found no result at all... I really don't know where I can seek help.

Thanks a lot.

Not from Montreal, but still in the province, I would say you should contact a CLSC or a CRDI for more info. Would say the CRDI would be the best choice for they are one of the main organism for TED in the province, currently followed by one of their specialized educator.

Cannot really say specific place where you can get a adult diagnostic since I had it done while I was seeing a psychiatrist, at hospital, for depression and she had me see a neuropsychologist for different testing, the neuropsychologist is the one who gave the diagnostic.

I am from Montreal and it happened through hospital emergency. I did not go there seeking this diagnosis, the doctor in emergency suspected it and set up the necessary interviews.

from my understanding it is pretty much impossible unless you go private if your an adult , i tried the clsc and they push you over to psychologist.

They dont really specialize in aspergers and cant really refer you to some one that diagnoses. Besides the option of paying several thousand dollars there was the universities that i was referred to.

Apparently if your an adult the government doesn't care about your aspergers and you should of taken the initiative while you were 3 years old to get diagnosed !
