Ok, the "mercury moms" have now found a new way to eliminate the evil mercury they feel is the cause of their children's "problems" despite all scientific research to the contrary: Lupon, a chemical castration drug.

I don't understand why mothers like this are regarded as normal yet autistic behaviour is not regarded as normal.

sounds more like they're simply trying to keep us from reproducing, than actually developing a cure.
A person should have a choice in whether or not they want to be chemically castrated.
Parents deciding to castrate their children without giving them any say in the matter sounds unethical.
Also younger children shouldn't be allowed to make that decision for themselves anyways because at young enough ages, it's not a concept they'd truly understand or appreciate and likely regret in the future if they took the shot.

I suggest you roll up your eyes to the top or side of this exact page. You'll see a little block named "Adds by google". Within it you will find hotlinks to a number of snake-oil torture methods.

The people who buy these methods...I don't know if they're stupid, inept parents or just plain lazy...Or if they're just desparate...

But it works. It's the human condition.

(Disclaimer, my rant is aimed at certain adverts and certain parents. Not all of them.)

This isn't just unethical, it's child abuse if the boy is under 18, and abuse of the disabled if over, both of which are felonies! The local district attorney should be informed. Anybody know the jurisdiction?

They ought to use it on themselves first, see if it cures their stupidity . . . or at least end the stupid peoples ability to reproduce.

A child shouldn't be circumcised unless there is a medical need for it.

Yeah, and they've been at it for a while (at least a year, I think). At least Baron-Cohen (the "autism is extreme mail brain" theory guy) has come out and publicly spoken against it.:

if the benefits aren't even established, then why is this even legal. The only thing it's "proven" to do is damage.
