An apology

I would like to give a public apology, reguarding my missconduct, in a thread, that was started in this forum, by a very concerned mother, yesterday. I was dealing with some flashbacks, and I was high on energy drinks...that 2 for 1 deal, at 7-Eleven. In the future, I will not be posting threads, that provoke strong, emotional memories. I will also stay away from the energy drinks.

I'm really trying to follow the lead of my role model, but at the same time, it was just 11 months, ago that I was still a cynical punk rocker, without the tattoos and piercings. Still, that shouldn't be an excuse. It's like the movie, 'My Fair Lady', where Eliza tells the horse, Dover to move his bloomin arse.

Let's put this, all behind us, and move on.

No one really cares about you that much to be offended by your overly politically correctness. Let your freaking hair down. Wow.

I'm not trying to be offensive, but it seems that you can't understand this.

Alright. I think it's all depends on intention, and the statement was with sincere and neutral intention. It was not meant to cause drama.

So, judge me half-assedly if you want.

I hope you were being sarcastic, otherwise that was really uncalled for.

CockneyRebel, I don't know what you're talking. Why did you feel the need to post this? Why didn't you post it in the thread that this apology pertains to?

Ferdinand-----what you are saying is horrible.

Cockney Rebel-you have a right to your opinion. You do not always have to agree with what someone posts, and you have a right to lash out if you feel that passionate about it. I do not care what Ferdinand is saying------I care about what you have to say very much!! !!

I am simply stating that this thread is very unneeded, and you guys are giving people a false sense of self-importance. I'd want the same for me, because I love honesty. Dammit.

also, Ferdinand, I've seen several of your posts in the past few days, and not many of them are nice or appropriate. I'm not sure why you think it would be appropriate to belittle this person. Maybe your own apology thread is in need.

I am not sorry though, and I'd refuse to lie to any of you about something like that.

I understand the intention perfectly well. I hope Cockney does too...

Obviously no one else in this thread thinks so. So please, let her have her apology and move on without being nasty.

Where do you get the authority to speak for every other member of this forum? I feel very strongly about a great many of the regular posters here - they're like family to me and it does indeed matter if they're upset about something.
